John Sidney McCelebrity

By GottaLaff

All those ads about Obama's "celebrity" status were bound to backfire. Two major publications are asking if J Sid is the real hypocrite celebrity. First, Time:
Sen. John McCain appeared on the Tonight Show this week for the thirteenth time, according to Time. Others who have been on the show that many times: Pamela Anderson, Dr. Phil, Larry the Cable Guy, Simon Cowell, Jennifer Love Hewitt.

So, who's the celebrity?
And then the Washington Post:
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Sen. John McCain may continue to attack Sen. Barack Obama as a celebrity, but that doesn't mean that McCain is above associating with them.

At a fundraiser in the heart of Hollywood Monday night, McCain rubbed elbows with a chorus of television and movie stars while raising some cash in the final days before his Republican convention. [...]

Earlier, Patricia Heaton, star of "Everybody Loves Raymond" joined McCain on the Straight Talk Air today for a flight from Sacramento to Burbank, descending down the front stairs of the plane together and posing for pictures.

And in the morning, Daddy Yankee, one of the biggest stars in the Latino community, endorsed McCain in front of a gaggle of screaming teenagers, then joined McCain for a leg on the plane.

Before the fundraiser, McCain taped an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

Here's a list of those spotted at the fundraiser:

Patricia Heaton (from TV show "Everybody Loves Raymond")

Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, CSI:NY, etc.)

Dean Cain (played Superman on the TV show "Lois and Clark")

Jon Voight (actor and Angelina Jolie's estranged father)

Jon Cryer (from TV show "Two and a Half Men")

Angie Harmon (from TV show "Women's Murder Club") and Jason Sehorn (former cornerback of the New York Giants)

Craig T. Nelson (from old TV show "Coach" and four episodes of "My Name is Earl")

George Newburn (groom from "Father of the Bride")

Lorenzo Lamas (from the soap "The Bold and the Beautiful")

The whole celebrity issue is ridiculous, but if J Sid's going to throw hypocritical ads at us, then he'll hear about what a two-faced old crank he is.
