Three ridiculous comments from the talking heads

Between Andrea Mitchell and whoever else I heard (I was enjoying a blow-drying experience and missed the names of the commentators), I was ready to put my 1875 watts aside and start pulling my hair out:

1. Because Palin has a child with Down's Syndrome, she'll make a great candidate.
2. Because Palin is a woman, Biden has to go easy on her. So much for women's equality.
3. A hotel employee told Andrea Mitchell that Obama was too tough on McCain. Yes, really. Obama should stick to soaring speeches, instead of showing he has a spine.
