They did the vetting on her in 3 days. Unbelievable.
There are women in the GOP who are more qualified than several of the men that were on the list. They weren't even considered.
Then he picks a woman he doesn't even know who screwed up being mayor of a village. What does all this say about what he thinks of women?
I'm curious, why do you think he went went Palin rather than KB Hutchinson, Liddy Dole, or other much more qualified women Rupubs? I don't get it. Was it that the others weren't sufficiently Christianist enough?

I visited an Alaska newspaper's blog/comment section that was discussing the choice, several people made comments about a "Lydia" who could "eat it," "suck it," or who must "really love this." I guess this must be whom they were referencing.

Sorry fro asking again, but I'd love to know your opinions. And for as much as I read I still don't know, can't understand, why he picked Palin over the other Repub women. And why didn't he pick Huckabee? I was so totally scared of that ticket. Can any of you tell me. I'm baffled. Thanks.

This could be huge if true and if not she is grossely negligent as a PRO-LIFE mother.
I am so tired of people giving the republicans and namely John McCain a free pass on stories such as this, but NO NO NO way should we let Sarah pass on this. Didn't someone send her the memo stating that the P.O.W card is not transferable to non-family members.
Palin is the perfect pick. I would actually rather the ticket was reversed - Palin McCain.

I think the only reasons McCain picked Palin was because she's willing to agree with everything he says and because she's against women's right to choose. McCain is delusional if he thinks that Clinton supporters would embrace Palin. He thinks he can just swap one woman out for another and no one will see how polar opposite they are. McCain picking Palin is a glaring example of his poor judgement and how he is clueless of his decisions' long-term effects.
So What if Palin's newborn is her child or not. I hope we don't start to get friggen evil like those that claim that they are holier-than-thou!
