Cesca Makes A Funny

HA!!!

Brilliant analysis from chris in the comments-

Todd on the ethics investigation: Palin's side of the story is that she was punishing her sister's ex-husband, who had been beating her.

I'm pretty sure that Palin's side is that she wasn't involved in having her ex-brother-in-law fired, but let's pretend Todd is right.

Is the US ready for another VP who uses elected office to get personal revenge?? If the guy was beating her sister, then she should have worked within the law & had him arrested.

Mrs. Palin was Miss Wasilla in 1984

Thanks, Paddy. I was gonna tell ya about Cesca's Pale & Palin, but you've got it already. :)

Discussion now is if the Dems will have to treat Palin gently because she's a woman. "He was a POW and she is a woman" are built in excuses for almost any idiotic thing they'll say.

What's with John McCain and beauty queens? Someone has issues.

Also. to counteract Todd on this: Palin's not under investigation for trying to get her brother-in-law fired. She fired a state commissioner who refused to do her fucking dirty work. That's a huge fucking difference, and it doesn't matter much what the extenuating circumstances are.

You are correct, Clancy. The allegation is that she fired the middleman, not the brother-in-law. Todd got it wrong and I failed to pick up on that part in my annoyance about her not following the law part. Sorry.

just found out that Palin is the mother of a down syndrome dhild.

so i'm figuring that McCain is going for the sympathy vote.

Noun. Verb. POW.

Noun. Verb. Down Syndrome Baby.

Sad that they've got nothing else.

And a VERY young child with Downs at that. . . which is where those traditional family values fuckwads might have an issue with her. Paddy has had some good thoughts on this.

Terrible choice.

All those Dobson people and others will be very angry over this choice.

gotta' love it

Seeing some guys on other boards talk about how women will or won't vote for her (will --only because she is a woman, won't -- only because she is a young woman)-- I'm realizing there are lots of men out there who have apparently never met a woman.

Fortunately, we have guys who actually get it.

Most women are pro-choice. Even most republican women. This isn't going to be a popular woman.

And a woman who seems too ambitious to take care of an infant with Down's Syndrome will not garner any sympathy. The job requires too much. If the child were not an infant, it would be different.

How can the TV idiots keep claiming that Obama has no executive experience? He's run a brilliant campaign over the last 18 months! How does that compare to the way McPOW has managed his campaign?

The names of her kids are: Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig.

The Palins named their first child, a boy, Track, after the track and field season in which he was born. Sarah's father jokingly asked what they would have named their son if he had been born during the basketball season. Without hesitating Sarah answered "Hoop."

Hey, Chris, they can claim it because that's what the GOP talking points tell them to do.

Before Palin became the governor of the 47th or 48th largest state, she was mayor of a town of 8,000 people. That's a lot of executive experience.

MJoe, it makes you wonder about Piper, doesn't it?

You guys are KILLING me today. I'm laughing my ass off.

The baby's only FOUR fucking months old? Holy crap.

And her oldest is headed to Iraq in the Army.
