Springsteen, Bon Jovi to perform at Democratic convention

By GottaLaff

The Boss:
"Multiple sources confirmed to the Rocky that Jon Bon Jovi will fly in to perform two acoustic songs before Sen. Barack Obama gives his acceptance speech at Invesco Field on Thursday. After the speech, Bruce Springsteen will close out the night, presumably solo acoustic (E Street Band member Nils Lofgren told the Rocky last week that the band wouldn't be with Springsteen in Denver). "
vs. J Sid McSnoozeFest:

Are we excited yet?

To be fair, the Rs will also be featuring Kelsey Grammer.

changing subject here, I am listening to Michelle Obama on the Gail King Show and asked what she thinks about all the bad press she gets she is scary she is that, She answered that she stopped reading the press a while back because the truth is what she sees on the ground. The press has their Agenda and that doesn't bother her too much.... for a minute there I started to breathe could it be that all this is a set up and people are warming up to the Obamas. Just like the 7 Pumas hoopla something doesn't ring true..! What say u?

I agree with Michelle.

I agree with Michelle also...

Regarding the supposedly entertainment will the RNC be passing out NoDoz during the convention to keep people awake? If not, then maybe the DNC should, also 45,000 people expected for the entire convention week. Crap Obama will have more than that OUTSIDE Invesco, it's kind of hard to be excited about a rattlesnake bite.

Just reading the list of "entertainers and hollywood celebrities" has me yawning at my desk. Should've used lunch hour for my nap instead, now I need to converge a convoy of coworkers to Starbucks, I need a triple espresso to stay awake.

Nothing's on the TV Machine. I still have the sound turned off, just the same ol'.

I wanna be in Denver, but nooooo, my kids need to go to frickin' school... BRUUUUUUCE!
Where's Cliff to discuss Springsteen with? Whatever. " ROSALITA"!!!!!!! ( It'll be " The Rising". Which is fine by me, but " Rosalita" is the greatest song ever.)
