As Gotta says, we HATE polls.
The latest Time/CNN polls in three key battleground states shows Sen. Barack Obama widening his lead in Minnesota and Iowa while holding tight in Ohio.
Minnesota: Obama 53%, McCain 41%
Iowa: Obama 55%, McCain 40%
Ohio: Obama 47%, McCain 45%

This is good news! I know polls don't matter much, but it's still encouraging to see this kind of a lead, especially in Iowa! I'm surprised with the sample size of Ohio compared to Iowa...
A little off topic. But John McCain and his staff are making a big deal out of how Palin has executive experience and that qualifies her or whatever. So why didn't they pick Mitt Romney who has executive experience and economic expertise and knowledge? If anything, McCain needs some help on economic issues, and Romney could have backed that up for him... Hey, by all means I'm glad he picked the inexperienced Governor of Alaska, but it seems like there are more qualified Republicans out there with executive experience. That argument that she has executive experience doesn't make sense to me. I'd NEVER vote for McCain and have campaigned for Obama several times, but I thought he had a little better judgment than that...
Also, doesn't that mean that Palin should be the nominee and not McCain? Clearly she has "more experience" than McCain does... Right?
I hate this "inexperienced/experienced" argument. It's a load of BS, especially now with Palin!
Awesome - great news to see. Nothing like negative convention bounce for the RNC!
I call the Republican convention the Mayonnaise Fest! What fun.
Y'all, understand this. We WANT Palin on Mcsame's ticket. She does nothing absolutely for him. They are having to hide her. She absolutely has to speak from a script. She cannot make extemporaneous comments without inserting her foot into her mouth. She is exactly what McSame needs for Obama to win. Think about it.
huh thats funny that looks like Kerry's number in Ohio. . .
Woo Hoo! I love seeing these numbers, here in Iowa City! Iowa went for Gore in 2000, but voted Bush in 2004.
FEMA isn't helping the homeless flood victims in Cedar Rapids, so it's a loss for McBush.
