Gov. Sarah Palin "is receiving a highly partisan reception on the national political stage, with significant public doubts about her readiness to serve as president, yet majority approval of both her selection by John McCain and her willingness to join the Republican ticket," according to the latest ABC News poll.
Key findings: When asked if Palin has the right experience to serve effectively as president, 42% of respondents say yes, 50% say no. When asked the same question about Sen. Joe Biden, 66% say yes, 21% say no.
Nonetheless, a new SurveyUSA poll finds 49% of those surveyed think Palin is an asset to the Republican ticket while 37% thinks she's a liability.

JOE!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!
I got the court site to come up...
Sarah is ALL THEY'VE GOT!
What did you expect the Republicans to say???
Abraham Lincoln was the greatest president the Republicans ever had. He had only eight years experience in the Illinois state legislature and two years in the U.S. House of Representatives before he ran for president.
Obama served in the Illinois state senate from 1997 to 2004, and has been in the U.S. senate since January 2003.
So I guess Republicans today would rather have Palin as president than Abe Lincoln.
