Cindy McCain
Oscar de la Renta dress: $3,000
Chanel J12 White Ceramic Watch: $4,500
Three-carat diamond earrings: $280,000
Four-strand pearl necklace: $11,000–$25,000

Wow! No wonder McCain has so many houses: his wife has the price of a Scottsdale split-level hanging from her ears.
And while I'm thinking about it, can the media please stop pretending that line about the difference between a pitbull and a soccer mom is some sorty of Lenny Bruce comic gem and not a tired old Rush Limbaughesque slur most recently used on Hillary Clinton? Dumbasses.

I thought the dresses (McCain's & Bush's) were in extremely poor taste considering that Monday was supposed to be the day the GOP was doing austerity and empathy for those poor Gulf Coasters.
Paddy are these tags real?
maybe we need to put the lipstick on the pit bull
All that money, and she still looked like a banana. Cryin' shame, isn't it?
Adrienne... you are too funny!!
Adrienne,
Actually, it's a cross between The Count from Sesame Street, Big Bird (with that hair) AND a banana. LOL!
Whatever it is--it's just too fucked up for my tastes, but to each his/her own.
Why would any self-respecting woman want to be compared to a pit bull; does she know that pit bulls are bred to be ruthless, nasty mean, and often attack children and kill them?
Probably not. She's been stuck up there in Alaska killing moose and field dressing them = tough like a man! Oh, but, BTW, don't critizize her because she's a woman.
BTW, I'm a woman.
She looks like Mr. Blackwell's dream come true.Very tasteless. While I'm at it McJackass can't call Obama elitist when he owns 7 houses and Cindy wears the eight house on her ears.
designer shoes at $600, not very expensive.
You're right. It was in bad taste. Even though her father made his fortune in the beer industry, she should not dress like that! After all, we know that the democrats would never do that, and we know that the democrats don't have that kind of money. They're like me, making $47,500 a year.
Also, like Obama said (and Michelle), we need to think about community. So basically, under the Socialist rule, Ms. McCain will need to give up that dress and those shoes, and John Edwards will need to stop his $400 hair cuts, and all of us will have to give up so that other people can have more. It needs to be "even". You won't have to worry if you can't figure out what to give up. The gov't. will help me.
After all, like Michelle said "America's don't desire that much". I guess that's easy to say if you're income in 2006-2007 averaged $1 million. Personally, I DO desire a lot. I want comfort, money in the bank, no debt. Oh, but wait, Obama said "americans have too much credit card debt, and cars they can't afford to drive, and mortgages they can't pay". Did anyone hear the plan for what he was going to do about my credit card debt? I missed that. I guess I'm not personally responsible for it. That's great. I need a bail-out.
As the owner of a pitbull mix, I wanted to clarify that pitbulls are NOT bred to attack humans. You're buying into the media hype - statistics don't support it. Get some education before you slander a breed - it's just like racism - judge the individual dog, not the breed folks.
