Video- C-SPAN Caller Complains: Too Many Black People Call In

Awfully civil of the guy to allow them to have an opinion, just not too often I guess. This particular CSPAN guy bugs me most of the time, but the nodding and seeming agreement with the bigot is just a bit too much. Via TPM.

J.D. Hayworth: Gay marriage opens doors to bestiality

By GottaLaff

John Sidney McCain's bigoted opponent equated same-sex marriage with bestiality on a Florida radio show.

J Sid is pro-Don't Ask Don't Tell. What a pair:

"You see, the Massachusetts Supreme Court, when it started this move toward same-sex marriage, actually defined marriage," Hayworth said. "Now get this, it defined marriage as simply, quote, 'the establishment of intimacy.' Now how dangerous is that? [...] I mean, I don't mean to be absurd about it..."

Too late.

... "But I guess I can make the point of absurdity with an absurd point. I guess that would mean if you really had affection for your horse, I guess you could marry your horse."

Hey J.D., if it's that absurd, you might have had the presence of mind to keep your big mouth shut... for once. No self-discipline: The sign of a trustworthy leader.

And how about not even thinking it? Equating same-sex marriage with marrying an animal? Really? You're going there?

Conservative:

1.
disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
2.
cautiously moderate or purposefully low: a conservative estimate.
3.
traditional in style or manner; avoiding novelty or showiness: conservative suit.
4.
(often initial capital letter) of or pertaining to the Conservative party.

That remark was far from "conservative", despite your party affiliation. More like outlandish and offensive.

I am appalled by the level of incivility and irrationality in this country. What has caused such a devolution? Why are we as a country tolerating this apparent downward spiral? What happened to us? We should be demanding better.

Tom Tancredo opens Tea Party Convention bashing immigrants, President Obama

What a class act.

Nashville, Tennessee (CNN) – Tom Tancredo opened what's being billed as the first Tea Party Convention with a bang.

The former congressman from Colorado and 2008 Republican presidential candidate blasted President Obama, saying "people who could not even spell the word 'vote', or say it in English, put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House. His name is Barack Hussein Obama."

(snip)

"So the race for America is on right now. The president and his left-wing allies in Congress are going to look at every opportunity to destroy the Constitution before we have a chance to save it. So put your running shoes on. Because I'll tell you, I've heard we need a revolution. My friends, we already had it. We lost. I mean, what happened to us in that last election was a revolution," said Tancredo, discussing the 2008 presidential contest.

Tancredo also slammed that election's Republican presidential nominee, saying "thank God John McCain lost the election."

The former congressman known for his strong opposition to illegal immigration also attacked "the cult of multiculturalism, aided by leftists, liberals all over who don't have the same idea about America as we do."

Tucker Carlson's new site: Rachel Maddow is a man

By GottaLaff

Classy. Inclusive. So 21st century. What more would you want from a shiny new site:

Tucker Carlson's new web site, The Daily Caller, launched today, featuring a column by The Weekly Standard's Matt Labash:

For those unfamiliar with me from my day job at The Weekly Standard, I'll give you a capsule bio by way of introduction: I have the gift of wisdom. Does that sound arrogant? I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention. I didn't choose wisdom. It chose me. If I had my druthers, I'd have chosen another gift, perhaps the untold riches of Lil' Wayne, whose teeth are made of actual diamonds, or to be the sexiest man alive, like Rachel Maddow. But wisdom is what they gave me, so wisdom is all I have to give back to you.

"Does that sound arrogant?" How about small-minded, bigoted, ignorant, unprofessional, and despicable? And this guy says he's giving advice? To whom? Sarah Palin? Glenn Beck?

So according to this self-inflated, self-proclaimed sage, gay woman = man.

According to this blogger, Labash = Worthless.

VIDEO- Brit Hume: Tiger Woods must become Christian to be forgiven

By GottaLaff

Of course, we all know that Tiger is a Muslim terrorist, because he's, you know, black:

Buddhism is inferior to Christianity when it comes to forgiveness of sins, according to Fox News pundit Brit Hume. Tiger Woods should turn his back on Buddhism and become a Christian to be forgiven for cheating on his wife, Hume told Fox News' Chris Wallace Sunday.
David Shuster tweets:
I respect everybody's faith, different from mine or not. But don't use a sunday news show to preach your faith. Analyze the news.

In the interest of fairness, that sunday show should make time for a member of Bhuddism given Brit's criticism of that religion.
David, David, David, have you forgotten? There is no room for fairness on ClusterFox.

As for news analysis, that's becoming an anachronism, having been replaced by polarizing shouting matches passed off as balanced discussions that give each side equal time.

S&Mer Jetton Tried to Ban Gay "Deviate Sexual Intercourse"

By GottaLaff

The hypocrisy is jaw-dropping, but not surprising. Yesterday I posted about Former Missouri House Speaker Rod Jetton (R), who "was charged with felony assault that allegedly happened during an S&M session gone wrong".

Look out kiddies, Rod (amusing name, considering the circumstances) has it out for "deviant" Teh Gay Love!

Safe word alert level: Red (green apparently didn't work).

Here's the latest:
Rod Jetton (R), the Missouri power broker who is accused of assault in a S&M encounter gone bad, apparently fought to ban "deviate sexual intercourse" in his state -- at least when it involved same sex couples, TPM reports.

Now, the Kansas City Star reports Jetton "will be leaving politics to deal with false allegations and spend time with his family," according to a statement issued by his lawyer.
I wonder if his family wants to spend time with him.

Those wascal Wushpublics, they're America's best constant source of Family Values debauchery!

UPDATED: "You Jewish f***."

By GottaLaff

http://www.miami.muohio.edu/documents_and_policies/nohate/logos/nohatebig.gif

My wonderful pal Joshua has given me permission to cross-post one of his blog entries in full. It is from his site, The Joshua Blog. Joshua is both gay and Jewish. What a crime, huh?

Got this lovely Pulitzer Prize winning gem today from chriskemp (christopherkemp@live.com):

You jewish fuck. Ever read Leviticua? Its a book in what you call the Torah. That means first five books. Anywhoo, you're penchant for sucking other guy's cocks is reason to have your worthless ass stoned.

I would not throw any stones, because I ain't a Jew. I would leave it for other Jews.

You are an ignoramus. If this nation that has given you and your ilk safe harbor should fall in full-fledged communism (which is what you are longing for in your leftward leanings) be afraid. Be very afraid. The government that you have helped empower may very well come after you.

Have you ever studied 1930's Europe? A little something happened there that you may want to take note of. It happened at the very same ideological hands that you seek to empower here.

Chris Kemp
Blythewood, SC
Show Chris some love guys: christopherkemp@live.com

He tried to post this on President Obama's West Point Speech (in Full), but it was really worthy of it's own post.

LOL.

UPDATE I:

Here he is on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/ChristopherLKemp
Thank you, Joshua, for allowing me to share the "love".

Threats like these sure must make eensy weensy tiny gnat-sized Chris feel big and strong and powerful. I guess that's all he's got: Poorly spelled, badly worded, vile little outbursts.

Sadly, calling people like this out and exposing them has become all too common here at TPC. But I find it is one of the few (non-violent) ways to both fight back and gradually rid ourselves of ignorant, pathetic cowards such as Chris.

UPDATE, THE APOLOGY:

I got two e-mails today; both contained apologies from Chris. E-mail #1 is from one of our favorite Commenters and my Twitterpal Joeyess:
Laffy, I sent an email to chris from joshua's blog:

You do know that 1930's Europe was in the grip of fascism, right? Furthermore, you know that communism began in Russia, right? Russia. The continent of Asia? Why do you people so easily confuse fascism and communism? They aren't the same, you know? In fact, they were mortal enemies. Is your confusion ignorance or willful belligerence?

And what makes you think for one moment that this country is in any way leaning towards communism? Do yourself a favor, look up the word socialism in the dictionary, be intellectually honest with yourself and then look in the mirror and at your reflection say three times: "You're an idiot.".

You won't feel any better about yourself, but at least you'll be a little smarter and honest, and gosh darnit! people will like you!!

and here's his response:

From: christopherkemp@live.com

Subject: Re: nice fella.

Date: December 4, 2009 8:23:00 AM CST
To: joeyess

You are so right. I'm never going to be able to apologize enough for that stupid and hateful thing I did on Joshua's blog.

I have got issues that make my current life sound like a really bad country song. Laid off in Feb., divorced and missing my girls, within about 2 weeks of having my car repo'd and probably 60 days from foreclosure.

So my solution was to get torn up on about 9 beers the other night and flame out by projecting my crap onto someone else. I am really sorry for having done that.

I do understand the difference between socialism and fascism. You are right about it.

If its not communism that we are leaning toward, then what is it? Socialism is just communism-lite. The gov't is involved in so many areas that they have no constitutional authority to be in. Nothing gives them the right to take my money and my children's money and their children's money and spend it on bailouts for wall street.

I already beat you to the punch about saying "I am an idiot". I've been kicking myself all night while trying to sleep. I really was raised better. Even at 44, I don't want to endure the tongue-lashing my Mom would give me if she read what I wrote to Joshua.

If you have any connection with him, please pass this along - he has blocked me from posting to his blog. Like, duh, I'd do the same thing too.

Chris
The next e-mail was from Joshua himself. He got this apology:
Joshua,

I am so very sorry for the hateful and horrible things I typed on your Blog Tuesday night. I apologize to you personally and to all of your friends that visit this site. There is no excuse for my behavior. Whether I agree with your views or not is no reason to spew the crap I did.

I'm sitting here flushed with shame and embarrassment for having written such stupid things. I'm my own problem, not you or whomever is in DC. I've set the beer bottle down and stepped away from it.

Thankfully, someone "jane from hell" sent me an email last night to call me out on my hypocrisy - I had forgotten about my "posting". When I looked it up and read it in a sober state I was dumbfounded by my own foolishness.

I was laid off in February, have judgments against me for failing to pay debts, am close to losing my car and going into foreclosure. Six months behind in alimony and have an IRS lien. Obviously, the solution to all of that is to get blindingly drunk and post things on the internet.

I've received some well-deserved criticism by way of Facebook and emails and have responded to all of them with apologies. I surely don't deserve it, but I am asking to be forgiven. I'm not a christian nor do I go to any church or have anything to do with organized religion.

For whatever its worth, I wish you and all of your readers success and all of the best things in life. I won't bother you again.

Chris Kemp
Blythewood, SC
Joshua posted this response at his blog:
He sounds sincere. No, "I'm sorry IF I offended" half-assed sentiment we usually get from politicians and cable news haters.

Your thoughts?

UPDATE III:
Apology accepted, Chris.

After thinking about your apology for a while, I realized that I’ve said some terrible things that I later truly regretted (some of which still haunt me to this day). And, since your apology was sincere – one that came obviously from your heart – it would be awfully childish of me to not accept it.
My thoughts? I'm relieved to see Chris take the time and effort to send what look to be heartfelt apologies. However, I can't stop thinking about the Mel Gibson incident. Chris revealed a side of himself that came out when he got drunk and depressed. Why would anyone even think to say such hateful things if it weren't at least a small part of who he is and what he believes?

It has never so much as entered my mind to hurl racist or bigoted insults at anyone. Ever. Drunk or not. Furious or not. Depressed or not.

But that doesn't mean I wouldn't accept Chris' apology, because he made at least two sincere attempts at making amends and explaining himself. He stated how appalled and ashamed he was at his own behavior, and said so. So good for him for owning up and caring enough to go out of his way to address Joshua and Joeyess directly.

What a shame that it was necessary to begin with.

Laffy Note: I'd like to add that Joshua's generous acceptance of the apology swayed me some. I do have to ask though: Is Chris one of those people who, like an abusive husband, apologizes and then repeats the same behavior? We may never know.

Pat Buchanan: "Traditional Americans are losing their nation"

By GottaLaff

http://img.timeinc.net/time/daily/2006/0608/buchanan0819.jpg

Pat Buchanan (I need a shower after typing that) has a new column he titled "Traditional Americans are losing their nation".

Really? They are? "Their" nation, huh?

Apparently, per Pat, non-"traditional" Americans never had their nation.

He's right in this respect: They've always been shoved to backs of buses, forced into the path of fire hoses, made to serve "traditional" Americans as slaves, gardeners, maids, car washers, bus boys, toilet cleaners, stuff that "traditional" Americans don't want to do.

Here's how "Uncle Pat", as Rachel Maddow and others call him, ends his little piece:
America was once their country. They sense they are losing it. And they are right.
Pat lost it years ago.

From this "Obama had a heckler" thread, we have a real winner:
why doesn't obama go to a rally that isn't dominated by blacks and poor people, instead he should go to a rally for everyday americans who actually pay their taxes, which support the blacks and poor people
I guess he/she missed this cartoon or him/herself.... not that he/she would understand it, appreciate it, or even know how to read it (well, maybe the pictures... maybe).

VIDEO- CNN: Secret Service Visited Pastor Who Prays For Obama's Death

By GottaLaff

Yes, this is the same vile being whose audio-spew I posted here. I am relieved to report that the Secret Service is, indeed, all over this:

CNN analyst Mike Brooks reports that the Secret Service has interviewed Anderson, who told TPMmuckraker yesterday: "To be honest with you, I have prayed for Obama to die. I'm not the only one, I'm just the only one with the spine to say it."
Now, once and for all, can all you Commie liberal fanatics admit how biased Janet Napolitano's DHS report was? Right wing extremists? Pfft. Get real.

AUDIO: Arizona pastor's sermons call for execution of gays, Barney Frank and the President

By GottaLaff

Via Pam:

Pastor Steven Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona [...] calls for the execution of gays in numerous sermons that you can listen to here.
"The same God who instituted the death penalty for murders is the same god who instituted the death penalty for rapists and for homosexuals, sodomites and queers"

Anderson, while he's memorized The Good Book, he is woefully underinformed about a few legal matters -- he apparently wants Barney Frank to sue his pious *ss off.

"The sodomites are recruiters and you know who they are after? Your children. They are being recruited by the sodomites. They are being molested by the sodomites. They recruit through rape, they recruit through molestation, they recruit through violation"

"Our country is run by faggots. You know who was the man who was the architect of the bailout? His name is Barney Frank, he is a pedophile..."

"That's who just sold our country into fascism. That's who just sold our corporations to the government. That's who sold out our country, a faggot!" [...]

"God Hates Barack Obama, I hate Barack Obama. I hate Him. God wants me to Hate Barack Obama." "Someone who commits murder should get the death penalty."
It's a good thing I can't type today... a real good thing. I'd offend everyone, although not as much as this twerpy twisted little dicklet.

If you have the stomach for it, here's the audio via Good As You:

Tuh-Weet! Alex Witt hearts Pat Buchanan edition

By GottaLaff

I beg to differ. I have an aversion to "learning" from racists, especially those who have overstayed their welcome on the Tee Vee Machine.

Pat Buchanan, or as bafflingly affectionate Rachel Maddow calls him, "Uncle Pat", offers nothing of value. He is a failed presidential candidate whose credibility rivals Sarah Palin's.

So, Alex, the only thing that punditiot inspires, IMHO, is revulsion.

GOP chief counsel on Senate Judiciary Committee: Gay marriage=pedophilia

By GottaLaff

The Party of No, the Backward Party, the Party of Bigots, the Ignorant Party, the Party of Homophobes... need I go on? Because I'm angry enough to do that. Oh, I could go on all day:
Last week, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) named William Smith as the chief counsel for the GOP on the Senate Judiciary Committee. David Ingram of Legal Times reports today that Smith recently compared support for same-sex marriage to support for pedophilia. In a blog post that has now been taken down, Smith responded to former McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt’s speech to the Log Cabin Republicans by writing that he wondered “if next week Schmidt will take his close minded stump speech to a NAMBLA meeting. For those unfamiliar with NAMBLA, the acronym is for North American Man Boy Love Association.” Smith also compared same-sex marriage to bestiality.

Virginia Foxx sends letter of apology to Matthew Shepard’s mother

By GottaLaff

Too much negative attention, MotherFoxxer? That second statement didn't quite give you the redemption you were looking for? Worried about losing that next election, huh?

[T]he Winston-Salem Journal reports that Foxx has written a letter of apology to Shepard’s mother, Judy.
More:

The Matthew Shepard Foundation confirmed that Judy Shepard received Foxx's note, but offered no comment on it.

"We are not commenting any further on Rep. Foxx's remarks on the House floor, or anything that was contained in a letter," Logan Shepard, the foundation's communications associate, wrote in an e-mail. "Everything that has been said already, is enough. We are trying to focus on the positive, which is, that the (hate-crimes bill) has been passed onto the Senate. We are looking to the future and our energy will be focused on putting the Matthew Shepard Act onto the President's desk."

Foxx declined to say in the WXII interview whether she now considers Shepard's death a hate crime.

Foxx's apology "shows that she doesn't necessarily understand what it was that she said wrong," said Becky Dansky of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. "It wasn't just her word choice, it was the sentiment she expressed. It was incredibly disrespectful, not just to the mother of Matthew Shepard but to the thousands of other hate-crime victims out there."

Strike three, you're out.

Joe the Plumber: I would never let gay people ‘anywhere near my children.’

By GottaLaff

http://www.rumproast.com/images/uploads/plunge_toilet_thumb.jpg
I would never let my children anywhere near Not Freaking Joe the Not Freaking Plumber:

Q: In the last month, same-sex marriage has become legal in Iowa and Vermont. What do you think about same-sex marriage at a state level?

JTP: At a state level, it’s up to them. I don’t want it to be a federal thing. I personally still think it’s wrong. People don’t understand the dictionary—it’s called queer. Queer means strange and unusual. It’s not like a slur, like you would call a white person a honky or something like that. You know, God is pretty explicit in what we’re supposed to do—what man and woman are for. Now, at the same time, we’re supposed to love everybody and accept people, and preach against the sins. I’ve had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn’t have them anywhere near my children. But at the same time, they’re people, and they’re going to do their thing.

I'm taking several long, deep breaths in an effort to calm myself down. I am refraining from using profanity, but want to in the worst way.

Hey Not Joe, you know what you are? Queer. And by that I mean strange and unusual. Unfortunately, the definition of queer doesn't include stupid, mentally defective, and bigoted. Oh, gee, that wasn't a slur, Not Joe. Honest.

How does this lowlife even look in the mirror without gagging? I won't go on. You all know what I'm thinking, because you are all thinking the same thing.

When asked if he had planned to run for public office, Wurzelbacher said he didn’t have any “right now.” “God hasn’t said, ‘Joe, I want you to run.’ I feel more important to just encourage people to get involved, one way or another. If I can inspire some leaders, that would be great. I don’t know if I want to be a leader,” he said.

Add "delusional" to my tirade. And any four-letter words you can think of.

AUDIO: Jay Severin suspended after blaming swine flu on the ‘millions of leeches’ from Mexico.

By GottaLaff

I remember this bigot from his Tee Vee punditiot days. My question is, why didn't they fire him?

Conservative talker Jay Severin was suspended indefinitely today by Boston's WTKK-FM after using the current swine flu outbreak to attack Mexicans and immigrants. [...]

So now in addition to venereal disease and the other leading exports of Mexico -- women with mustaches and VD -- now we have swine flu. ... We should be if anything surprised that Mexico has not visited upon us poxes of more various and serious types considering the number of cimminalieans already here. [...]

[W]hen scoop up some of the world's lowest of primitives in poor Mexico and drop it down in the middle of the United States. Poor, without skills, without language, not share our culture, not share our hygiene. ... It's millions of leeches from a primitive country. ... Now they are exporting a rather more active form of disease which is the swine flu.

He-e-e-ere's Jay:

Severin's agent thinks Senor Severin "will be back on the air doing great radio soon."

David Shuster, thank you for reminding this punditiot that there are laws against discrimination. And for asking how gay marriage could possibly affect straight marriage. And for pointing out his utter lack of logic to his face.

By the way, my marriage to Mr. Laffy is still intact. I can't figure out how, with all Teh Gay wedded bliss out there. I better get out my umbrella, because it's raining gays and a bigger, badder storm is a-comin'!
