GOP fundraising group quits doing business with Bachmann

Poor thing. City Pages has a fantastic write up of Bachmann's Top Ten "Oh no she didn't" moments. Very sweet.
A well known Republican fundraising group is no longer working with Rep. Michele Bachmann. Reports that the Gula Graham Group ended its dealings with the Dictrict 6 congresswoman first surfaced in Congressional Quarterly. She is no longer listed on the group's Web site as a client. The news comes a month after Michele Marston, one of Bachmann's key aides, quit her post the day before Bachmann's big anti-health care reform Capitol rally -- er, press conference.
"When your captain's crazy, it's time to find a new ship," a unnamed GOP House member said after the Marston departure.

Census worker hanged with 'fed' on body
Man oh man. As WaterTiger points out, some people have been demonizing the Census workers with a passion lately. I mean, if you think the Federal Census worker is going to put you in a Internment camp similar to the ones we put the Japanese in, well, what would you expect?
WASHINGTON — The FBI is investigating the hanging death of a U.S. Census worker near a Kentucky cemetery. A law enforcement official says the word "fed" was scrawled on his chest.
The body of Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old Census field worker and occasional teacher, was found Sept. 12 in the Daniel Boone National Forest in rural southeast Kentucky.
Investigators have said little about the case. A law enforcement official, who was not authorized to discuss the case and requested anonymity, tells The Associated Press the word "fed" was written on the dead man's chest.
FBI spokesman David Beyer said the bureau is helping state police determine if Sparkman's death was the result of foul play, and if so, whether it was related to his census work.

You know, when someone starts their statement with "I am not a nut...". Starts at 4 minute mark, notice how Bachmann just goes with the flow.

Michelle Bachmann is everywhere

I knew it felt like it, but apparently there's proof. Via Taegan.
If you thought you were seeing Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) a lot on cable news, it's because she has been on a lot, CQ Politics reports.
A new study finds that the Minnesota Republican, who has a penchant for making controversial statements, has made 22 appearances on national cable news programs so far this year, matching her total number of appearances for all of 2008. That's one every 9.1 days.

Michelle Bachmann strikes again
The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act (sometimes known as the Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act)[1] was an act signed into law on June 17, 1930, that raised U.S. tariffs on over 20,000 imported goods to record levels. In the United States 1,028 economists signed a petition against this legislation, and after it was passed, many countries retaliated with their own increased tariffs on U.S. goods, and American exports and imports plunged by more than half.Lessee, who was that pesky President in 1930? Oh that's right, the Republican Hoover was President.

Democrats go on Bachmann watch
The gift that keeps on giving.
Democrats just can’t get enough of Rep. Michele Bachmann, the always controversial, always quotable Minnesota Republican.
In fact, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has built a website — www.bachmannwatch.com — devoted entirely to Bachmann’s rhetoric, slamming what they believe are overstatements or exaggerations about everything from ACORN to the stimulus.
“The same woman who once said Congress should be investigated for those with anti-American leanings and once argued that she couldn’t support the economic recovery act because America was ‘running out of rich people,’” the site blares.

AUDIO: Michele Bachmann warns of "Re-Education Camps"
By GottaLaff
Host Sue Jeffers encourages Bachmann to run against U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (highlights)
We've said all there is to say about her diminished mental state. Just listen to the audio. It's really time for her to go.
(h/t DumpBachmann)
What more is there to say? Please feel free to express yourselves in Comments. I've run out of adjectives.FactCheck.org debunks this line of thinking on the national service bill (h/t Salon’s War Room).
Related: A Minnesota Independent investigation reveals today in a special report that Minnesotans in Bachmann’s district face the worst effects of the foreclosure crisis – but she’s doing the least about it. Bachmann calls homeowners “irresponsible” while advancing legislation to restrict abortion, make the U.S. government more Christian, and fend off mythical assaults on the dollar.

Matt Taibbi slams Michelle Bachmann on Hardball
I almost forgot about this until Heather reminded me. Truly beautiful.
Taibbi: You know it's funny this morning outside of Penn Station I saw a guy huffing glue out of a paper bag, and he was making more sense than Michelle Bachmann was making. I can't believe it. You need to pass a written test to drive a car in this country but I bet this woman can't even write her name in the ground with a stick. I mean it's just unbelievable to me that this person is in the Congress.

Hannity and Sharpton?

I don't get the addition of Meatloaf, but the idea of Sharpton, Bachmann and Hannity in the same room together makes my head hurt.
The new Alan Colmes-less Hannity premieres Monday with frequent Fox News guest Al Sharpton filling the liberal seat on Sean Hannity's newly christened "Great American Panel."
Rep. Michelle Bachman (R-Minn.) will fill the seat on the right. (And she should have plenty to talk about given the Senate dispute in her state between Al Franken and Norm Coleman.)
The X-factor on the panel: Meatloaf.

VIDEO: Chris Matthews v. Michele Bachmann
By GottaLaff
Bachman seems unable to articulate a coherent thought beyond "Obama's leftist, liberal, anti-American mentors." She even claims that Rezko is a "leftist, liberal, anti-American." Matthews points out that Rezko is a businessman, not a liberal. Bachman didn't seem to understand the difference.Wow. Even Tweety was a little freaked out by this whack job.
