FOX News Sends Cease & Desist to McCain Web Operator

Tsk, tsk. That McCain camp isn't very good with copyright laws, now are they?

TVNewser has obtained a cease & desist letter sent by lawyers from Fox News Channel to AirNet Group Corporation, the company that hosts John McCain's campaign Website.

The copyright infringement notification stems from this ad currently playing on the McCain-Palin site. It includes grainy images and audio of reporting from Fox News correspondent Eric Shawn. The notification states, "Fox News requests that you immediately cease and desist from any further use of the copyrighted material and that access through the Website to the Material, and any other Fox News materials, be immediately disabled."

Wow! It's bad when even FIX decides you've gone too far (but I think it already happened with one of the local FOX stations in this election cycle.) I don't understand why someone who believes so strongly in the Free Market keeps stealing from other people/companies and organizations. Does his campaign think theft is an acceptable part of capitalism?

HUH? Acorn? Now the nut campaign is jumping on this??

I'll wait to see if FactCheck.org looks into this claim and what they have to say about it (before I would consider McNutz claim.)

I just read through what Fact Check had to say about the Ayers baloney,

Obama supporters will believe anything that comes out of his mouth. As for me I am not ready to live in a socialist country with Dictator Obama! Wake up you are about to vote your freedom away!

NobamaNetwork, yet you believe and buy into socialism for the rich. That's just unreal. You open up your pocket for the rich over and over again and expect to get different results.

OH FUN! What a freak-show-of-a-website! Thanks for the resource of nuts-and-loonies!

...vote your freedom away you ask? HA! Since the Republican "Contract on America", where do you think our "freedoms" have gone?! Out the window with the Republicans!!!

Can you say NSA?

(I'm sounding rash but this again is the problem with our country today. All sorts of ding-dongs can be brain washed by AM radio and Fox...it is truly terrifying that they and the right have (and are) creating our own home-grown version of "terrorists" HERE!)

Umm...yes. that's what free market is, constant and blatant theft for as long as you can get away with it.
