Voter drops support of Gramm-pa McCain because off IWRC* Palin's voice

By GottaLaff

Just heard on the Stephanie Miller show (paraphrased):
I got an email from Sharon in Seattle that says her friend is not voting for McCain any more because she can't stand the thought of hearing Sarah Palin's voice.
IWRC* Palin does it again.

*"In What Respect, Charlie?"

And no, this wasn't a joke. It was in context in a longer email. Hilarious, though.

Y'all know how much I love Barack but if his running mate was Sarah? I would stay home... wouldn't vote for McCain but I would just stay home. She is so polarizing she makes the Hillary days look like a walk in the park on a spring day

You know what, her voice, as grating as it is, is one of Palin's better qualities.

After spending 5-6 weeks getting to know this person, let's just say there are some serious questions about the mental fitness of Alaska's voters. On one hand, I now understand why it's important for the Federal Government to maintain stewardship of all that government land up there. On the other, perhaps we should cut out losses and let the AIP have its way.

I had a friend say she would never vote for Hillary because she couldn't stand her voice. She was for Ron Paul.

As much as I HATE Palin's voice, I also think this is a problem for women in general. I could do a whole long boring comment on how we as a culture respond to women's voices.

But I won't. I'm just glad Palin and her voice won't be in the White House.

I think Alaska may be like Texas. Governor doesn't have enough power for most people to realize what an idiot incompetent they are.

Texas is run by Lt. Gov and legislature.

Eve you may be onto something there

To say that her voice is "screechy" is an insult that owls will never live down.

Apparently the pitbull's face was not "retouched" in Newsweek cover and that's a crime.

I do not think Obama will pick a running mate like her...ever.

Governor Palin's accent does not bother me. I know people who have that same accent and I enjoy listening to the lilt. (I like accents). What bothers me about Governor Palin's voice is the smile in her voice while she is fibbing, or discussing tragedy. I still cannot quite believe how happy (almost giddy) she sounded while discussing what she would do should something happen to Senator McCain (should he win). That was nauseating.

I have so much respect for Obama/
Biden...they have taken the high road all along, but when mccain has so much baggage why doesnt Barack fight back...his (John Mccain)affilliation with the iran contra, the fact that he is an adulterer, who left his crippled wife (who stood by him and waited the whole time he was imprisoned, then when he came bk home and met Cindy he started an affair with her, then got a marriage license in another state before he ever got a divorce. and what about his connection to the keating 5....there is so much against he and
Sarah Palin... she has one foot in the white house,,,and one in the trailer park!!! Please don't let them continue to besmirch you both..and what about Sarah Palin association w/ the man whom started the Independant party in Alaska? she tried to get him on the city council when she became mayor...talk about scummy affliation!!and then there is the "first dude?" i am more enthused about this election than i have ever been in my 66 years. i pray every nite that God will keep you safe and that you will be elected!
