It will attract fewer people who have previously stated intentions to vote for Barack than it will chase people who intended voting red into the Obama camp.

And everyone can see where McMagoo would end up if today's positions were replicated on Polling Day. Since that will be the result anyway, McMagoo will end up pan-handling outide the White House, pathetically posing for snaps with bemused Japanese tourists who think he's the village idiot, escaped for the day.

The American people, hell, the WORLD wants to know?

My theory here is one of a seriously stunted personality - one that began with the heaviness of inheriting your grandfather and father's name (I've always thought that very cruel) and then the expectation of becoming an Admiral in the Navy which you don't manage to achieve.

McCain doesn't seem have a "self" to be honest to.

Hopefully the time has arrived for these sorts of people, who in the past used to get to play out their personal inner dramas on the world stage, to be called on their sick behaviour.

Such lies, deception, vindictiveness.....all could've been sorted with some serious inner soul work. When he was a POW it could have been an experience that set him free, but sadly he choose the bitter, angry and power-hungry road.

I just admire your stolid disposition, being able to focus on the little piece of doodah long enough to make your case completely like that. Expect further "traditional" Reps to come out to try to salvage their party from McMagoo's wrecking-ball.

Many thanks.
Interestingly enough, I actually grew up (and survived!!) with family members who resemble 'ole Johnny so I feel I know him intimately.

It was an experience I have put a lot of work into distancing and freeing myself from - but I'm proud of the fact that I'm nearing the release of my "inner Obama"
