PhotOh! Palin helps "the cause"

By GottaLaff

Nanotyrnns was kind enough to loan this to us:

MeMe McMoneyFirst has her priorities, and they don't include any of us.

Au contraire, on Planet MeMe, Santa Cause brings lots of presents... but only to her.

To quote Shannyn Moore (who knows a thing or two about a thing or two) on Twitter:

Palin CHARGES the teaparty 4 appearances, says she'll donate 2 their candidates, THEN KEEPS THE $$$.

Can't get more "for the people" than that... Also too there.

PhotOh! Italy's "X-Rated" Wall

By GottaLaff

This came to me via an e-mail from a friend. I have no link, and hope you haven't seen it yet.

Heads up (pun intended):

Apparently they didn't consider the sun when designing this wall...

Anyone want to take a guess where this wall is located?
(Answer below)

St. Peter's Basilica (per the e-mail).

Maybe they needed to read "Bad Baby Names"?

And that's the long and short of it (pun intended, even though it's rather... limp).

PhotOh! NY bomber suspect lists home with "Habitat BOOM"

Faisal Shahzad tried to sell his house at the ironically named HabitatBoom.com

Listed by: Faisal Shahzad (Realtor Listing)

Did you notice the reason for selling? Maybe it should have said, "Moving to a prison. He won't last long!"

PhotOh! The meme of memes: Big Oil's Katrina

By GottaLaff

Tazzz over at DailyKos has graciously given me permission to cross-post her work here at TPC.

We're done with the media pushing Rushpublic memes. Time to start one of our own:

BIG OIL'S KATRINA

Big Oil owns this one. Between this and the mining disasters, it's time to shift the blame on those who deserve it.

Note to GOP: You just go right on backing these thugs. Then your new slogan can be Lose, Baby, Lose.

PhotOh! Pamper Me Barbie edition

By GottaLaff

Diva McPamperMe made a stop:

Sarah Palin spent several hours at Pamper Me Please in East Peoria last Saturday before her speaking appearance in Washington, as well as appreciation for some Alaskan coffee provide by Embassy Suites during her recent visit to the area.

She really is one of the people, isn't she? That's what she keeps telling us, anyway.

Personally, I have never gotten my nails done, nor do I go to a stylist of any kind. I do all that myself, including my own hair cuts. But that's just me. I don't happen have the money, patience, or time (or inclination) to spend in salons.

Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing any of that, not at all. Plus it keeps a lot of people employed, and it goes without saying that most people can't cut their own hair.

Here is Pamper Me Barbie getting worked on (click to enlarge):

Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go color my hair.

Not Safe For Work: PhotOh! Chicago Republican website is hottt!

By GottaLaff

Correction (title edited to reflect): The site belongs to an individual who labels it Chicago GOP, but is apparently not affiliated with GOP. Thank you HeidiEKMassey. My information was wrong. ChicagoGOP.com is an unnofficial site for Republicans.

I've always admired the Rushpublic party for standing up for Family Values, labeling themselves the Family Values Party, being so Family Values pure of heart, condemning others for their prurient ways, raising their eyebrows at the mere mention of the Sex Word, shaking their fists angrily at extra curricular activities like extra marital affairs, visits to Voyeur-istic venues, revealing photos...

Why, I feel safer and more protected just knowing they are always looking out for the children and the more prim and proper among us. They'd never expose, say, readers to anything that comes close to racy. Certainly not a woman's bare boobuses!

Oh. Wait:

"I've never seen any racial slurs," said the Tea Bagger holding the racial slur sign

By GottaLaff

Dale Robertson, a Tea Party activist who operates TeaParty.org, is getting stung for an old photo — taken at the Feb. 27, 2009 Tea Party in Houston — in which he holds a sign reading “Congress = Slaveowner, Taxpayer = Niggar.”

Dale Robertson has never seen any racial slurs? Really? Mayhaps someone handed him his sign while he was blindfolded, then made him promise not to look?

"These people could be anybody. I wouldn't put it past the Democrats to plant somebody there. They're trying to label the tea party, but I've never seen any racial slurs."

-- Dale Robertson, self-proclaimed founder of the Tea Party, quoted by the Washington Times.

Don't these people understand the concept of image reproduction? And hypocrisy?

Ever?

Not even a teensy weensie little bit?

PhotOh! What if you gave a tea party and nobody came?

By GottaLaff

Here [is a] picture from the Tennessee Tea Party visit to the Capitol this morning. They were taken during the right wing extremist red-meat speeches given by Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey (R-Blountville) and Senator Mae Beavers (R-Mt. Juliet), two of the Co-Prime Sponsors of the Tennessee Health Freedom Act.
Go here for more.

Considering all the press they get, the tea baggers sure are a roaring success, huh?

Airport worker photographed screen as female passed through scanner

By GottaLaff

All those jokes about having to get in shape, work out, and diet before going to the airport these days aren't too far off. Virtual nudity can be awfully intimidating.

So can illegal photos of virtual nudity.

Check out this little invasion of privacy:

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Police received an allegation regarding an incident that happened at Heathrow Terminal 5 on March 10. A first-instance harassment warning has been issued to a 25-year-old male."

The BAA employee took a photo of his co-worker, Jo Margetson, when she inadvertently went through a scanner.

"I can't bear to think about the body scanner thing," she told the Sun. "I'm totally traumatised. I've spoken to the police about it. I'm in too much of a state to go to work."

I'd be traumatized, too, only with a Z.

The incident is likely to reignite privacy concerns over the scanners by civil liberty groups.

There's much more here.

VIDEO/PhotOh! Michelle Obama, Hula Hoops, and Jumpropes

By GottaLaff

Most fun First Lady pic ever:

There are lots more photos where that came from:

First Lady Michelle Obama wowed Washington on Wednesday with her stunning acrobatic display during the Healthy Kids Fair.

And that's not all. She's bringing back the Hula Hoop craze:

Pictures of her hula hooping impressively on the White House lawn as part of a health promotion event were beamed across the world last October. Mrs Obama hula hooped 142 times without stopping and inspired thousands of women of all ages to have a go themselves.
