Correction (title edited to reflect): The site belongs to an individual who labels it Chicago GOP, but is apparently not affiliated with GOP. Thank you HeidiEKMassey. My information was wrong. ChicagoGOP.com is an unnofficial site for Republicans.

I've always admired the Rushpublic party for standing up for Family Values, labeling themselves the Family Values Party, being so Family Values pure of heart, condemning others for their prurient ways, raising their eyebrows at the mere mention of the Sex Word, shaking their fists angrily at extra curricular activities like extra marital affairs, visits to Voyeur-istic venues, revealing photos...

Why, I feel safer and more protected just knowing they are always looking out for the children and the more prim and proper among us. They'd never expose, say, readers to anything that comes close to racy. Certainly not a woman's bare boobuses!

Survey: Miami Full of Hot, Dumb People

Just a loving shout out to my former home town. I can attest to the survey being pretty accurate, the only thing I would quibble with is that there has been and still is a very robust artistic/theatre community.

(CBS) A survey of 30 cities conducted by Travel and Leisure magazine ranked Miami number one for attractive people, but 29th for intelligence, followed only by Las Vegas.

"In Miami, you see nothing but good looking people," Scott Piccininni of Ft. Lauderdale told CBS affiliate WFOR-Miami.

Apparently you also see nothing but people with low intelligence. The city's rankings in other categories may have something to do with that. Miami scored low on theater, museums and historic monuments in the survey.

It also ranked 27th for friendliness, beating out Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and, of course, New York.

President Obama makes #39 on AfterElton's Hot 100

Consider this an adult Clancy's Candy and Chrissie's Crumpets. Some prime viewing on that list.

For the first time, an out gay man has topped AfterElton's Hot 100 list, which allows gay and bi men to rank gentlemen in order of, well, hotness. Neil Patrick Harris unseated Jake Gyllenhaal for the title, which the Brokeback Mountain actor had held for the first two years of the list.
