U.K. Economy Shrinks, World Markets Tank


So the McCain camp releases it's version of the "Daisy" ad (which was virtually ignored on Morning Joe), Palin is to give a big "policy" speech that will claim that Obama's policies throw special needs families under the bus, the stock market is on the brink of meltdown and Obama has his head down in Hawai'i. Sounds like the perfect set up for a huge fail by the McCain Camp.

Timing is everything.

(CBS/ AP) Britain's economy shrank between July and September, official figures showed Friday - confirming that the country is on the brink of recession and sending the pound into a dive against the U.S. dollar.

Also, world stock markets tumbled Friday on growing alarm that a global recession will ravage corporate profits.
