That first shot looks like Big O is heading for a phone booth for a quick "Up, up and away!" moment. LOL

Lordy, but I love the way he responds to people in these crowds -- and how they respond to him! "Toot", you raised a fine young man! :)

Off in left field: Has anyone noticed this tidbit? Seems Special Counsel Scott Bloch has been fired.

To cheer you up even more:

According to electoral-vote.com's predictions, McCalamity needs to pick up more than 10 EVs every day from now until polling day. There are some tied states, but they are mostly a lean to Obama in recent comments here. Still according to electoral-vote.com's predictions, Barack would have to lose 8 EVs a day, but only if McCalamity wins all the tied states. Converging fullfilment of those two requirements is exceedingly unlikely, to say the least.

The freedom of each state to decide how to allocate EVs gives some perfectly legitimate results that cannot be correctly forecast by a poll using only the "winner takes all" route, but all in all electoral-vote.com's predictions are a very valid base for the numbers to be gained and lost.

Winning 12 EV's a day for 12 days would be extraordinary. It would take something special in the line of fraud, or the Reps would need to have a whopper in reserve, which is unlikely because they would have had to disclose it by now to get some more clothing money, oh crap, make that campaign money.

Similarly, there is nothing to suggest in any way that Barack would go through each of the next 12 days as a total loser. Now we can see why Paddy Power closed the book on this election very early indeed. The chances of that early pay-out turning out to be generous are virtually nil.
