GObama!
Obama retains a two-point (48%-46%) lead over McCain in Florida, according to a new Mason-Dixon poll there. With a margin of error of four percent, Obama's lead is within the margin of error.More good news in the post just below this one.A September Mason-Dixon survey had Obama up 47%-45%, and, in August, Obama led 45%-44%. Back in February, McCain led 47%-37%.
Pollster Brad Coker writes, "The key to Florida remains the Tampa Bay region, where Obama currently holds a 48%-44% advantage. The other regions of the state fall into their generally predictable patterns, with Obama holding a wide 61%-33% lead in Southeast Florida and McCain running ahead in North Florida (58%-37%), Central Florida (51%-43%) and Southwest Florida (55%-40%)."

kerry -- I love that site.
SUSA has Obama up 15 in Pennsylvania!
So many polls everyday now!
Obama could be so far ahead on election day that there aren't any swing or battleground states that are essential to win. Just red or blue states and mostly blue EV votes.
:)
McCain just continues to shoot himself in the foot with his intended $1.3 billion in Medicare/Medicaid cuts. This is how he intends to pay for his health care program.
Obama supporter (D-FL) Debbie Wasserman Shultz on Rachel Maddow explained this will be a killer with senior citizens. They care about two things: their investments and their medical insurance which they have paid into and deserve.
Obama campaign already sending out direct mail pieces in Florida.
i think educating people is all that is needed for Obama to win in a landslide...the more people understand the factual differences between the policies of both candidates, the easier the choice!
These type of direct mailers have such an impact when people can compare the two plans in black and white...
I'm glad the surrogates are out spreading the message and that the campaign is hitting hard in these battleground states!
What continues to disturb me is that, while Obama reaches out to people's minds, McCain and Palin are seemingly concentrating on people who would rather think with their fists. It is the "politics of division" pursued to its logical absurdity.
by next week he would lead by 6 points....the higher the better since we cannot ignore those who will vote against him due 2 whatever prejudice they hold.
