Be proud, America.Yesterday on his radio show, right-wing talker Rush Limbaugh said it’s “striking how unqualified Obama is and how this whole thing came about within the Democrat Party. I think it really goes back to the fact that nobody had the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy.” Limbaugh continued:
I think this is a classic illustration here where affirmative action has reared its ugly head against them. It’s the reverse of it. They’ve, they’ve ended up nominating and placing at the top of their ticket somebody who’s not qualified, who has not earned it. […]
It’s perfect affirmative action. And because of all this guilt and the historic nature of things, nobody had the guts to say, well, wait a minute, do we really want to do this?

Ah, he's just a dick--a flaccid one at that. This is the shit I hear day in and day out in SC where the Confederate Flag still flies over the capitol building. My car was vandalized b/c I had an Obama sticker on it. Nothing was taken out of it or anything. So, I feel your pain.
You all do know that MSNBC's Pat Buchanan was on a neo Nazi talk show not long ago spouting off his hatred, right? And he gets to stay with MSNBC. Nice.

Cesca posted a link to an article Buchanan wrote a couple months ago on how Blacks should be damn grateful for what this country has given them, slavery made their lives better, blah, blah, puke. He's disgusting (Buchanan, not Cesca)
As for Limbaugh - how can a man this stupid make that much money? And WHY do people listen to him?

Oh, I know. I'm stunned and appalled that people like him exist, let alone reach so many people via the media.
It all boils down to profits. Anything for a buck, including bigots and sickos.
Rush makes money because there are a lot of people that agree with him.
Which is another reason this is the most important election in our lifetime.

It was Rush Limpdick who got caught in an airport with bottles of Viagra on him, wasn't it? Yup, it was. Man, what an idiot.
Chris, I have to live in SC where folks fly that damn flag on their homes. It pains me. I was so happy that Senator Obama won the primary here, and he even spoke right in front of the capitol where it flies. Talk about a bittersweet moment!
but of course....haven't you received the memo: only a white man earns his quest to power, while every black man and let's not forget other minorities earned it cuz the 'white man' felt so bad for their inadequacy, they had to let them run for office and WIN.
forget voters preference, forget his hardwork, its all thanks to affirmative action. While the likes of McCain earned it all by being an utter academic and political failure, God bless experience.
Someone needs to call Mr. Limpdick and remind him how many hundreds of years white men TOLD blacks NO to everything even basic human rights.

And, of course, Limpdick wants McCain to win b/c McCain's healthcare plan would cover Limpdick's Viagra but not birth control pills for women.
You know, Cyndi, when I moved to SC, I was in high school, and I was bussed across town to attend a mostly African American school. Even at a young age I remember being confused and thinking it was sad that they had to bus in some white kids from another part of town to attract good teachers for black kids. Even that young, I knew it was a damn crying shame. It never bothered me. I just found it to be sad and unfair.
The Rush Limpdicks of the world will build up so much bad karma that eventually it will catch up with them. The best revenge is to ignore them. They hate that.
Chris said earlier that she used to like McCain, and I just wanted to say that I did too. I liked him until he became the ultimate hypocrite and endorsed George W's torture program. That, my friends, is a man with NO moral compass or core. That's what scares me about him.
That is why I left Republican party. Once much revered Party has become a symbol of hatred, racism and ignorance today.
