Dumbasses. It's obvious that Obama was doing double duty, appealing to my area, commonly known as "Michiana". See, Michianders live in the area just north and south of the Indiana/Michigan state line. But does the GOP do their homework? Nooooo, they just slam the man. /slight snark
If this is the best they can do, we are soooo headed for a landslide.
The trouble with long nights on the campaign trail, perhaps, is that Michiganders become Michi-anders, and thanks to video and the Internet everyone knows about it.
RightMichigan.com is asking the question of Barack Obama: "What's a Michi-ander?'' after his appearance at a rally in Detroit. And the RNC is relaying the question by email.
"To the world champion Detroit Red Wings,'' Obama told a rally audience in Detroit, "to Obama grassroots volunteers, especially Michi-anders for Obama and Michigan Democratic future... I thank you all..''
Well, a Michi-ander lives in Michi-an.
