Rumors

My computer crashed, so, while I try to restore the tabs I lost, I'll put up a couple of rumors that make my blood boil. Paddy touched on one earlier. Here they are:

1. In reversal, Obama says he will forgo public funds: Wrong. It was not a reversal. Read Paddy's piece. This misrepresentation has me livid.
2. Thom Hartmann just repeated something that has supposedly gone viral, a theory that he says began at Huffington Post. It's the idea that John Sidney McLoser will drop out of the race just in time for the Republican convention, and that a new "fresh" face will be chosen. That, in turn, will steal the thunder from the old fresh face, Barack Obama. And that, in turn, will hand the general election to the Republicans.

UPDATE: Hartmann went on to say that McAging will use health as the out. The reasons behind this? That he can't win, and if a Democrat gets into the White House, the appropriate Republican thugs will be investigated for war crimes, among other things.
