California: The bad news (Blackwater) and the good news (gay marriage)

By GottaLaff

(Hint: This is the "good news" photo)
First, the bad news (in brief):
Judge allows Blackwater to resume work on San Diego facility

The security firm has a contract to train U.S. sailors. San Diego officials say the company engaged in trickery by applying for permits under different names. A hearing is set for June 17.
Now, the good news:
California Supreme Court refuses to delay gay marriage

The ruling, on a 4-3 vote, means same-sex couples could tie the knot later this month.

The California Supreme Court today rejected petitions to delay its historic same-sex marriage decision, clearing the way for gay couples to marry later this month.
I like the good news so-o-o much better.
