I wish I'd written this down at the time, but didn't, so this is paraphrased. Chuck Grassley was talking to Chris Matthews on MSNBC during a break in the Sotomayor hearings. He said (almost in passing) that the so-called controversial statements that Judge Sotomayor made in her talks weren't reflected in her rulings. That was today's Shallow Thought. Thank you for wading in.
If that is the case, then what's the problem again?

Am I the only one that thinks that Grassley's not all there? I caught an interview with him on NPR yesterday in which he came off as almost completely vacant of substance and comprehension.
When will white men get a chance? Just because 96 of the 104 Jusices were white men means nothing!
Session's got it right, "why do they hate us." Remember he was the one who found fault with the clan only because they supported abortion.
I always thought that Session broke with the Klan over their dope smoking. . .
Hilarious, LankyHank:

THX for the chuckle.
Isn't it cute the little lady is doing law stuff?
You see little missy, 2 and 2 is 9; so you take your 9 and subtract 5 and ya get 13.
He haw, he haw
Haha, yeah I agree Sen. Grassley is not necessarily the brightest Senator in Congress. Just look at his take on Health Care reform. It beyond ridiculous. Here is the video from my blog:

You will no doubt get a kick out of this.
