"Devoted" Mark Sanford spokesman quits. Maybe he's moving to C Street?

By GottaLaff

Hopelessly devoted to Mark, but not enough to stick around:

The spokesman for the philandering governor of South Carolina plans to leave his state job. [...]

Sawyer said he is leaving to pursue unspecified opportunities in the private sector and that his boss's revelation of an extramarital affair has nothing to do with his departure. [...]

The governor said in a statement that [Joel] Sawyer has been a devoted staff member.
Of course has nothing to do with l'affaire de Mark. It's all one big fat coincidence.

...and on top of that, this from Politico:

"Sanford traveled well on taxpayers' dime"

I don't get it... Republicans always seem to campaign as if government is the problem and yet they seemingly go out and do specifically the opposite? Weird.

It is like this Lou: The Republicans scream against big government because they do not want others to enjoy the many perks that come by working for the government. They are the loudest hypocrites in the nation. And once the majority of Americans wake up to the Rushpublic shananigans (sp) the country is going to be a better place for every person.
