I'm running out of synonyms for "astonishing", "offensive", "despicable", "bigotry", "hypocrisy", and "just plain stupid":
[T]he GOP started promoting it's new Web site, http://www.gop.com/obamacard/. The site is supposed to showcase how much money President Obama is supposedly spending by letting you, the visitor, spend money too on your new "Obama credit card." [...]
Just what products does the RNC propose you buy with your new Obama credit card? Anti-semitic, anti-Latino, and overtly pornographic literature - with pictures to boot.
Basically, the RNC site is set up as a faux online business, like Amazon.com, where you can buy goods by doing word searches. Search for the word "car," for instance, and you get pictures of various cars and how much you can pay for them with your ObamaCard.
But don't stop there. Do a search for products dealing with the word "Jew" and the RNC suggests you buy the book "The Jews and Their Lies" (bottom left).
Type in "Latino" and get "The Latino Threat."
But the real fun starts when you type in the word "gay."
Gay, you see, is banned by the RNC (at least they haven't lost their sense of irony). "Homosexual," however, is a product you can buy at the RNC site, and oh what they showcase with that word (note the two men in the upper left corner - perhaps they're just very close friends, like Lindsey Graham and Aaron Schock).

Seems to me that the GOPers are SO eager to pin anything on Obama and make it stick, that they apparently don't think through their stupid little marketing gimmicks adequately much less thoroughly.
I like it, but it's too tame. I want something with BITE.
This is just more emotional wedge issues devised by the upper 1% plutocracy to get you to think there is an actual difference between the the Democratic and Republican parties.
Now that Obama has been in office for six months and, along with the Democratic DINO Blue Dogs, have totally embraced the treasonous policies of the Dubya/dick misadministration, this is all the proof you need to prove to yourself that both parties are nothing but 'change you can believe in that's more of the same!'

Dear Kevin, Where were you when Reagan got into office? Mainstream America was so insular and narrow back then that Jimmy Carter's balanced, objective views were shouted down and scorned by the voters. The reason was that this kind of corporate controlled propoganda was used to good effect. The Democratic congress members who aren't working with President Obama are OBVIOUSLY corporate lackeys. The country has crumbled since 1980, all the while munching mindlessly on sensationalism, scandals, and trashy tv shows. I'm totally fed up with people who are so selfish that they are willing to vote against their own interests because some slick haired politico warned them that a booger man was coming to get them. The real booger man is the corporate/political partnership that sucks the real life out of intelligent, hard working people who are actually humble enough to willingly pay taxes so that every American will have a safety net when, inevitably, hard times come along. You are willing to blame President Obama for 30 years (not just the last 8 which where horrible), but 30 years of corporate control of the American people's country. With off shore accounts and politicians in their pockets, corporations have succeeded in buying off 90% of the media. The programs that pass for news programs are so subjective and slanted that I have totally given up on prime time news; local news papers or "news" magazines. The only place where I can read and decide for myself what the "news" is; is the internet and websites like buzzflash.com. Your bitternes toward the only "human" adminstration since Carter is selfish and shortsighted. President Obama is an empowered man who tells the truth. He is not vulnerable to scandal and he is willing to face up to what has to be done. And he isn't going to be brought down by the same kind of thing that brought down Clinton, or even Gore (who can figure out what was going on with him?) - he is going to continue to act as an empowered leader who takes mine and your rights seriously. Please try to give him a chance. You will be glad you did. Do you honestly think he is doing a bad job? If you do, then you are just not thinking about the whole picture. Just watch him moderate the crisis we are facing globally and time after time - he will strive to aim toward objectivity. Don't be so discouraged. It's time to continue to push for progressive action. Write to the Democrats who disgust you and tell them so. Watch the fast fading Republicans mire themselves even more into their narrow, selfish addiction to pimping and stealing. Give President Obama a chance to use his huge intellect and his poltical abilities to change America back to a safe place for everyone (not just the rich).
