She was back on the show this morning and got into it with Eugene Robinson on whether or not her father withheld information from Congress and, if so, why. She reiterated the Republican mantra, "The national security of the US is at stake blah blah blah" at which point Robinson reminded her, "inconvenient" though it may be, there is a 1947 law on the books that the CIA is supposed to brief Congress on any intelligence activity. It went back and forth and I turned the channel.
She is her father's vehicle for putting it out there. I have to believe she's mounting her own campaign down the road. She's just too visible, too vocal for it to be much else.
Scary stuff. I would repeat that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree but it's more like the seed of evil now sprouting roots.

Liz Cheney often defends Dick Cheney with such certainty and utilizing specific information that indicates she is privy to classified information. My question would be, is/was she cleared to have such information. If not, should not someone press her on her obvious lies?
Ah, well, I'm all for a "special prosecutor" assigned to determine if and what laws were broken and by whom and then prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law. I think we'd see Rove, Rumsfeld and more thrown under the bus by Cheney and Bush. I would not be satisfied unless Dick Cheney were prosecuted and convicted as I just simply believe he's a manipulating liar whose motives were to RUL THE WORLD and take Halliburton along for the ride...or, something like that.

Well, I get that she is implying that she thinks he might "fundamentally, deep down" agree with those who said that the CIA lied, but where are you getting that she thinks he "hates the troops?" I agree this is as sleazy as is typical as for her, but I just didn't hear "he hates the troops" in that.

I read somewhere that , according to a poll of about a gazillon countries, that President Obama is the MOST TRUSTED LEADER in the world !!!---and he accomplished that in less than 6 months !!!Oh Yeah, DOD, I can see how that is hurting our country, right ?
