VIDEO: Florida Lawmaker Caught Looking at Porn on Senate Floor

By GottaLaff

If I had to sit through endless senate sessions, I'd sneak peeks at The Daily Show, but to each his own:

B.Us.Ted:

On Thursday morning, Sunshine State News captured exclusive video of Sen. Mike Bennett, R-Bradenton, looking at pornographic material on his state-issued computer on the Senate floor.

Ironically, as Bennett is viewing the material, you can hear a senator's voice in the background debating a controversial abortion bill.

"I'm against this bill," said the voice, "because it disrespects too many women in the state of Florida." Bennett defended his actions, telling Sunshine State News it was an email sent to him by a woman "who happens to be a former court administrator."

"I was just sitting there, bored as they were debating the abortion bill," Bennett said.

"I opened it up and said holy [expletive]! What's on my screen? and clicked away from it right away."

Sure he did.... after several seconds... after he realized someone might see. And he only reads Playboy for the articles.

Oh, but I kid the Senator.

His spokesperson said that Bennett thought he was viewing an email about an item being debated on the Senate floor. That would have been some debate.

There were other images he'd downloaded that were caught on camera, too, including at least two videos. He was also caught on camera watching a video of a dog. Apparently, nobody knows whether or not he also thought that was an email about a bill being debated on the floor... regarding spaying/neutering laws maybe?

When asked if he ever looks at pornography while on the Senate floor, Bennett responded, "You'd have to be insane to do that. It all goes through a server. I don't think anybody would be doing that."

Nah, nobody ever does that.

Carl Paladino, NY Tea Party gov. candidate, doesn't even try to hide racism, porn

By GottaLaff

The next time a Tea Tantrumer refuses to acknowledge the flagrant racism that has become more rampant and more frequently displayed for the world to see, send them to this post.

The indignant response to accusations of same are laughable, especially in light of the very NSFW illustrations of outright racism and porn that you will see here, at wnymedia.net.

Every one of these was originally sent by or forwarded by Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino. WNYMedia.net has confirmed their authenticity through several sources and different means. They’re real. [...]

It is the political culture wrought by Sarah Palin. A reflexive defensiveness to criticism from the opposition on even the most obvious of hypocrisies, malevolence or provable falsehoods.

It’s why Carl Paladino is morphing into Carl Palin-dino, New York State’s own tea party fringe opportunist. However, people who are just being introduced to Carl Paladino now know he’s the kind of guy who enjoys videos of woman copulating with horses and sending racist emails which would make David Duke blush.

I won't post a screen grab. If you have the stomach for it, and you are not at work, you can go see for yourself.

Family Values party? I don't think so. Patriotic? Hardly. Offensive? Disgusting? Despicable? Hypocritical? We have a winner.

[Carl] Paladino purports to be the values candidate, but what will values voters say when they discover that he enjoys sending hardcore pornographic and racist emails around town?

Or rather, a loser.

Army of God wants YOU

By GottaLaff

Hey kids! Look! A vicious vigilante organization called Repent Amarillo (click on images to enlarge):

How unholy can you get?

They're invested in the usual: porn, strip clubs, guns, and yes, indoctrinating our children:

It's saturated with military imagery: men in uniform, humvees, helicopters, helmets; they compare themselves to special forces; they call themselves the Army of God, and sport Bible quotes glorifying warfare. [...]

They are a "rabid group of religious nuts" who object to the usual targets of fundie hatred — gays — but also harrass people who visit sex shops, engage in consensual heterosexual activity outside the bounds of traditional marriage, and…well, here's a list of their targets. [...]

Keep this in mind. This is the future the Pat Robertsons, the James Dobsons, the Sarah Palins want for us — a kind of Saudi Arabia that differs only in the name we give our prophet.

See above images to see who they specifically target.

Isn't religious zealotry the bees knees?

Earlier today, I posted about the rise in hate groups, including video that goes into some detail. People who feel they have to go to extremes like this must have had disturbing, sad, and most likely violent upbringing. What makes them the way they are? Why are they so afraid?

Much more info about this stellar group of not-Christians here.

Porn again

By GottaLaff

The Mudflats has a poll for you to take. The premise is basically, porn is in the eye of the beholder.

I won't reveal more than that. Go here.

Meantime, here is an excerpt separate from the poll portion of the Mudflats post, although it is XXX rated.

Why is it? Because it's a quote from the Sean Hannity show about Scott Brown by Barbie McLipSchmutz. That's a triple X if I ever saw one.

The following Barbie quote is not suitable for children:
“It’s going to send a very strong message that the status quo, even in Massachusetts, the status quo of just accepting the big growth of government and health care takeover measures that it seems capital hill wants to cram down our throats today things are gonna start changing thank god things are gonna start changing, but even and I would love to be able to at some point interview “Senator Brown.” I anticipate victory there, but even if he doesn’t win already poll numbers showing that his message is resonating and his message is just, you know, common sense conservative values, principles, solutions, being plugged in to meet the challenges facing america today. People in his state they’re listening to him and are getting excited about this dynamic candidate.”
I don't believe in censorship or I'd have redacted parts all of her endless ramblings.

She really should think about going back to her Run-On Sentence Anonymous meetings. She needs help. Badly.

Porn company names Gingrich ‘Family Values Porn Fan of the Year, 2009.’

By GottaLaff

http://images.huffingtonpost.com/gen/110458/thumbs/s-NEWT-PORN-AWARD-large.jpg

Remember that racy little post about Newtie and the nudies (sounds like a '60s rock band)? It was all about invitations to "private dinners" that were sent out by the Newtster to adult entertainment industry types "by mistake".

Uh huh.

So who says XXXers don't have a sense of humor?
Allison Vivas, the president of Pink Visual, turned the tables on Newt. She told Dave McKenna of the Washington City Paper that she created a fake award for Gingrich:

“I sat down with the executive team here and created a special honor to bestow upon Newt: ‘Family Values Porn Fan of the Year, 2009,’ Vivas responded via email. “We worked on the plaque design [image on the right], an event schedule, a notification to fax to his office – and of course, a letter we’ll send rescinding the offer after he receives it.”

(HT: Huffington Post)

They could also invite Barbie McLipSchmutz.

That way, they wouldn't have to rescind the invitation. She'd simply fail to show up, and everyone would save lots and lots of time and money.

XXX Dep't-- Newtie rejects nudies again: No dinner for you!

By GottaLaff

Those "private dinners" with the XXXers can get a guy in hot water... literally:

http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/2/20652/18_2008/SpaNaked.jpg
For the second time this month, Newt Gingrich's 527 has decided that it made a mistake inviting an adult entertainment industry entrepreneur to attend a "private dinner" with the former House Speaker.
The mistake was getting caught, right Nudie, er, Newtie? Privately dine with me once, shame on you. Privately dine with me twice, shame on me.

Dawn Rizos, owner of Dallas topless club The Lodge, received a letter earlier this month from Gingrich's American Solutions inviting her to dine with Gingrich at a Capitol Hill club next week. She was also told she had been selected to receive an Entrepreneur of the Year Award. "Dawn — Newt is looking forward to finally meeting you face to face" to talk policy, read a handwritten note on the missive.

"Policy"... Is that what the kids are calling it now?

Precker said he was told the invitation had been intended for another company with the same name — DCG — as the club's corporate parent. He also says he was told the full $5,000, and the non-refundable travel expenses incurred, would be returned — "so I guess they really don't want us around." No funds have yet been received, he said.

Yes, that's it. They meant to invite the other DCG.

The latest cancellation comes just weeks after porn executive Allison Vivas — who received the same invitation to a dinner with Gingrich, with a nearly identical handwritten note — received her own cancellation notice.

What a coinkydink! Imagine! What are the chances?

Oh! Did I just post a suggestive picture? I meant to post the other suggestive picture:

I'll rescind that first one ASAP.

VIDEO- Tom Coburn's chief of staff: "All pornography is homosexual pornography"

By GottaLaff

Another ignorant, fearful, sexually repressed, bigoted Rushpublic extremist:

At the Family Research Council’s Values Voters Summit today, FRC Senior Fellow Pat Fagan, Heritage Foundation scholar Matthew Spalding and Michael Schwartz, the chief of staff for Sen. Tom Coburn, held a discussion on “The New Masculinity.” Schwartz, who was the final speaker, said that Fagan wanted him to discuss “how men, who already are good husbands and fathers,” can “change the culture.” [...]
SCHWARTZ: And one of the things that he said to me, that I think is an astonishingly insightful remark. He said, “all pornography is homosexual pornography because all pornography turns your sexual drive inwards. Now think about that. And if you, if you tell an 11-year-old boy about that, do you think he’s going to want to go out and get a copy of Playboy? I’m pretty sure he’ll lose interest. That’s the last thing he wants.” You know, that’s a, that’s a good comment. It’s a good point and it’s a good thing to teach young people.
Schwartz then added a slight caveat, saying, “if it doesn’t turn you homosexual, it at least renders you less capable of loving your wife. And it’s something you need to be healed of.
I guess it's preferable to pal around with C Streeters, lie, and run off with your Argentinian soul mate, huh Michael? Taking notes, young people?

Porn Kings to D.C. - Help Us Through Hard Times

You know, at first I laughed at this, but I'd be hard pressed to think of an industry that helps the "common man" more on a regular basis.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Another major American industry is asking for assistance as the global financial crisis continues: Hustler publisher Larry Flynt and Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis said Wednesday they will request that Congress allocate $5 billion for a bailout of the adult entertainment industry.

“The take here is that everyone and their mother want to be bailed out from the banks to the big three,” said Owen Moogan, spokesman for Larry Flynt. “The porn industry has been hurt by the downturn like everyone else and they are going to ask for the $5 billion. Is it the most serious thing in the world? Is it going to make the lives of Americans better if it happens? It is not for them to determine.”

Francis said in a statement that “the US government should actively support the adult industry's survival and growth, just as it feels the need to support any other industry cherished by the American people."
