And here's some context for Gwen Ifill's "pro-Obama book"...She's so in the fucking tank for him, y'all (can't you see the color of her skin?):
"Ifill argues that the Black political structure formed during the Civil Rights movement is giving way to a generation of men and women who are the direct beneficiaries of the struggles of the 1960s. She offers incisive, detailed profiles of such prominent leaders as Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, and U.S. Congressman Artur Davis of Alabama, and also covers up-and-coming figures from across the nation. Drawing on interviews with power brokers like Senator Obama, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Vernon Jordan, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, and many others, as well as her own razor-sharp observations and analysis of such issues as generational conflict and the "black enough" conundrum, Ifill shows why this is a pivotal moment in American history."
The book sounds historical in nature to me, but what do I know?
Ain't it something that the so-called "Half Breed Muslin" candidate is beating the shit out of the oh-so-white Republican right now? And will most likely be the next president of the US, and work hard for dimwits like this one?
I applaud the non-racist folks who will NOT tolerate this behavior. The other side would have you believe that others are the cause of what is wrong with society but we know see that the biggest threat to our econmony as well as existence as those who have the power and not only abuse it yet manipulate it (mainly through the media) only to keep the status quo alive and well.
This ex-democrat worked in a textile factory that was closed down and his job was shipped overseas, that's why it is Muslin. It's just like the Corning factory jobs in Penn. in the latest Obama ads. Cathode tubes for TV's are obsolete. When the plant closed in 2004, it wasn't politicians or trade practices that "sold them out." Rather, the culprit is that unforgiving foe: new technology. The plant was closed because it made cathode ray tubes, which are used in conventional televisions. But the cathode ray tube is a dying technology, and Corning no longer makes it. Conventional TVs are being displaced by new plasma and LCD televisions. Time to "fess up" (that's folksy talk for tell the truth)Obama maniacs. Just another example of lies and distortions. Focus on the facts and the truth will set you free. You're all just as pathetic as racist Andy is.
So, does this mean he's half cotton, half nylon? What do we make muslin from, anyway? Should anyone be condemned for being half natural fibres, half synthetic?
Oh, and BTW! Being a Muslim isn't about race, it's about religion. What ever happened to the land of the free, the home of the brave, freedom of religion? Didn't the Pilgrims come to this great land to escape religious persecution? Get a grip, America.

I want to throw up. And scream.
How can people like this still exist?
WTF is a "Muslin"?

The misspelling of "Muslim" speaks volumes about his intelligence...
Or lack thereof.

A sedative already? Well, good lord.
That demonstrator is just a tulle of the right-wing. ;)
Now, I must go get my kids...I sure hope they weren't indoctrinated with "the gay agenda" in public school today. Sheesh.
Actually, that wouldn't be so bad. I could use some fashion advice and a new hairstyle too...
Gotta, check out politicalwire. Look at the post called Palin Sets Up The Choice!!!
I am glad the media is exposing these racists to the public.
People like this are too stupid to know that their signs will have the opposite intended effect. McCain already has the racist vote.
I am sure the neighbors are more likely to vote for Obama just to stick it to this fool.
Will do, Noah, but I gotta go to work, so I may not have much time on it.
Noah, I'm not seeing it. Link?

oops
Just look for "Palin Sets Up the Choice"
Already found it, thanks! It's posted. Refresh. : )
so which is more scary... that obama is a type of 1/2 cloth person, or that this guy is voting?
Personally, I only vote for pure linen. It's important to get your fabrics right.
You're right Alison, pure-bred muslin is unquestionably the superior fabric.
Jeesh!
What's painful is I'm hearing this same phrase very close to home, from people who know that my daughter's half-brother is mixed.
Man, the ignorance in the south just continues to amaze me sometimes.
(I've never understood the "Half Breed" part, though. Most people are of mixed ethnicities and/or races).
WTF is a "Muslin"?
isn't that a type of cloth?
It is a type of cloth. I've never seen any half breed kind, but then again, I've never thought of muslin being good for anything except curtains.
does half-breed muslin need to be dry cleaned, or can you throw it in the washer?
i'm assuming it's color-safe.
That fella's threadbare attempt to pull the wool over his neighbors' eyes is doomed to faille.
But then, it's what I'd expect from a guy whose taste in formal wear is probably Cannon sheets.
A "Half-Breed Muslin" is something like Linen; a nice lightweight natural fabric that is good for comfortable shirts in hot weather.
anon...
you mean i gotta iron it?

"He says he plans to put an EVEN BIGGER sign in place of this one."
Remember, spell-check is your friend . . .
.
This fool was a registered democrat until this year? Please. That's hard to believe.
