Hey Paddy,

If you want to see some more heartwarming stuff, did you check out that Obama PDA thing over at huffpo? It's super cute. The Obamas are so lucky to have each other.

That article on Biden and his sister on your Thursday links post was great, too.

I come from a very close family- nothing more important than family- and it makes me feel great to see that our Nominee and his running mate are perfect examples of the values that mean the most to me.

Yep, one of my fav pics is of Biden with his face up in his mother's, very loving and attentive. I'm a sucker for that shit.

Ah, man...y'all. Now I have to pull myself together somehow.

The Democrats really own the family values this year, don't they?

Someone please pass the Kleenex, please.

Please?

Know somethin', King? I'm not sure about this debate, though. Gov. Palin just has to walk on the stage without tripping over anything, utter a few coherent sentences, and she wins. Right?

(It would be totally entertaining if she tripped and fell, though. Heh).

Ok "Mistress" Lillian has to go viral.
I insist.

She is 100% ADORABLE.
AND wise
AND inspirational.

I think i just might start all my mornings off watching her.

Thank you Paddy for introducing her to us.

P.S. Just wondering who carries her books 'cos perhaps you could post that as an ad. and garner some contributions as well?

McCain on MSNBC now saying some more stuff that doesn't make much sense...I sure hope he just keeps talkin'.

heeheehee

Ady, that would be fantastic.

Joe has been working really hard to be prepped- I have faith that he'll make a great showing. I think the Palin/Mc campaign will have been working on a strategy to make Biden look like an arrogant chauvanist- But Joe has been working with some fantastic women.

It'll be exciting, at the very least

You know, McCain actually makes more sense if you mute your teevee when he's talking.

King, maybe I am just looking for a good laugh tonight, and what would be funnier than Palin takin' a little spill and Biden helping her up? Not much I say...as long as no one gets hurt.

I can't stop with the teary eyes now, y'all...why make me cry so early?

About tonight's debate. Just fill in the blank... If you put lipstick on a ... it is still a ....

My prediction is that although Palin may not stumble, if she displays any form of mockery or sophmoric ”humor” like ”I've been hearin 'bout Biden since the second grade”. She will come across as simple-minded and basically mean spirited. Her political style has evolved into this because she is not at all cerebral, well-read or even curious. She has probably gotten away with theses mean-spirited mockery and put downs because her whole adult life has been built around here looks. Somehow she has rationalized in her mind that I do not look mean, so if I say stupid and mean things it won't seem that bad because I have these looks.
I am truly beginning to think that McCain did look into her eyes and saw that same meanness in her as he sees in himself. That is how they relate to each other. They compensate for the deficiencies in the same pathetic way.

Spot on, Anon.

Ady said...

True that, Anon.

Now, Mr. King, what are we drinking to...huh? Biden also says "look" a lot. What does Palin say? I know it's usually nonsensical stuff...oh, we could drink every time she does NOT answer a direct question? Maybe?

As you can tell, I'm not in a thinking mood today...

TheKingFiphtin said...

Actually Ady, that's a great idea. I think your brain is doing just fine.

So we should drink everytime Sarah avoids answering a question- drink twice if she also turns it into an attack. That should keep us drinking at least every question.

"look" might be a good one for Joe, too. I'll keep thinking about things for Biden, but I think that one might just work.

I'm going to be at a friend's house for the debate, so I won't be posting at all during. Sad, I know.

Ady said...

Ah, Fiph, my mind isn't up to par today at all...I can't keep up...Not posting? Why on earth not? Yes, sad.
