What else does he have left?
TPM finds Sen. John McCain's campaign "has now shifted virtually 100% of his national ad spending into negative ads" attacking Sen. Barack Obama.Desperate measures for desperate times, eh Grammps?
Analysis shows that as of October 1, McCain's $1.3 million weekly is being broken down as follows:This is a dramatic shift from the period before he suspended his campaign when he spent approximately half his ad money on the positive "Original Mavericks" ad, and around half on the negative "Dome" spot.
- Nearly half a million on "Dome," which attacks "Obama and his liberal allies" in Congress for favoring "massive government."
- A little more than half a million on "Mum," which attacks "Obama and his liberal allies" as "mum on the market crisis."
- Much of the remaining money on "Overseas," which says that "Barack Obama and his liberal allies are to blame" for jobs going overseas.
- The small remainder is going to a positive spot, the "Original Mavericks" ad.

How's Michigan goin' for ya?
BAHAHA
seriously... i'm ready to be hungover on Nov 5th already.
Who wants my good news? Anyone? Anyone?
ME! I love good news!
Kped good news please
what's your good news, K? We want to know!
any ad for McCain IS a negative ad
Let me get this straight....
the candidate, Senator McCain, who agrees with tax breaks for companies to ship jobs overseas is blaming that candidate, Senator Obama, who wants to change that and give tax breaks to companies who create jobs here for jobs being shipped overseas?
wow. Senator McCain and his Campaign really have no shame.
Kim
There is no shift. He has been using negative ads from the start of his campaign. Am I missing something here? This is not news...He's been doing this negative thing from the start already...
I think they're saying that nearly all of them are now, Cheryl. Before he had some negative, a few not so negative.
Okay, I'm back to tell you my good news. Although Laffy will look upon it with some heartbreak, because she hates my hours already.
I shall be leaving my crappy retail job and moving to an actual office building with an actual desk and an actual paycheck that pays actual money. I am getting off what is left of the dole and finally going to be able to get a cell phone and ( eventually) a credit card. I will be able to get a car to replace the one I sold. I will not be dirt poor anymore, just adequately poor.
Yes, a new job!!!! Yay me!!! Wine, everyone!!
PS- this will mean a little extra during the next fundraiser, too.
KPed, that is AWESOME!!!
Except for the part where you leave me.
Except for the part where I'll miss you.
But other than that, AWESOMMMMMME!!!!
That is great news Kirsten, congratulations. And Gottalaff, I don't remember not so negative ads from the McFossil campaign.
And all these negative ads will make him look worse anyway. I feel that many more people(although you still have some people that are still stupid when it comes to this election),can see through this negative(lies) B.S. by now anyway.
McSurge!!!!
Cheryl, there were a few out there that just talked about him, as they point out in the post.
But yeah, the ones I remember were negative.
Excellant, Kirsten! Congrats!
Kirsten - congratulations! That is wonderful news. My hubby was on strike for several months and the day they ended the strike, they laid him off. He was out for a long time, so I understand the happiness of getting something. I hope you love it.
