Surprise! Coal ash spill full of arsenic

I seem to remember that when that enormous sludgy coal ash globbed all over Tennessee 'hoods, the residents were reassured that it was not harmful.

Anyone with half a brain (that includes you, Grandma Also) could figure out that those reports were about as reliable as Christie Todd Whitman's assessment of the post-9/11 air quality.

On MSNBC just now, it was reported that the coal ash glop is arsenic-laden and would affect the water. Just the latest newsworthy tidbit from our stellar representatives from the U.S. Department of Duh.
