Since everyone's into new calendars this time of year...
CSPAN should be busy for awhile. And when CSPAN is busy, TPCers are busy.The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension Committee (HELP Committee), chaired by Ted Kennedy, has slated the following:
-- Thursday, Jan. 8, 10 a.m. ET: Health and Human Services-designate Tom Daschle
-- Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, 9:30 a.m. ET: Secretary of Labor-designate Rep. Hilda L. Solis
-- Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, 10 a.m. ET: Secretary of Education-Designate Arne DuncanEric Holder's hearing for attorney general is scheduled for Jan. 15th.

Gorgeous day out here. How's the weather where you are?
We're having a blizzard in Boston and it's MAYBE in the mid 20s out there with a ferocious wind. Luckily I'm tucked in at home, my husband's making cookies and there's plenty to read.
