Forum Poll: Obama Leads in North Dakota

North Dakota? Am I still sleeping? Wow.

Sen. Barack Obama has taken the lead over Sen. John McCain in North Dakota, 45% to 43%, according to a new Forum poll.

"The poll indicates McCain's once-comfortable lead in North Dakota has melted away as Obama is the widely favored choice among voters who consider the economy the most pressing issue."

On election night, long after it is clear that Obama has mopped the floor with McCain, this is the kind of state that will keep me watching . . . every red state that Obama pulls in to his column will elicit yet another maniacal laugh as I contemplate how utterly defeated the GOP is.

Please let this happen.

Obviously, this is a result of the large African American population in that state....

There is no safe state for McCain. Sure, he may lead in a few, but no lead is safe... Obama is weathering the cadence of McCain's hate mongering and is standing stronger and taller. D.
