Dennis Kucinich on what's next for his Article of Impeachment

He says he's hopeful.

Kucinich: The administration took us into a war based on lies. Why bring the single article now? In the last month, since I introduced the 35 articles, Congress has funded the war again... FISA... Iran's saber rattling... And the lies. We're losing our country to lies, that set up a national security state, and getting ready for another war with Iran.

I want a hearing on this. On Tuesday I will ask to refer to Committee for a hearing. Yesterday, Pelosi showed a slight shift in her position for SOME kind of a hearing. I believe that, if I can make the case in front of Judiciary, it will enable the Congress and media to understand the gravity of the situation.

I presented it to the House, then it has to lay over, and come back Tuesday, and then I'll ask that it be sent to Judiciary.

Listeners can call their members of Congress, request that hearings be held in front of the Judiciary Committee. Also, on my website,there is an impeachment petition. Kucinich dot U.S. has the petition.

We can't let this go. This continues to be an urgent matter. The Constitution is being attacked daily by BushCo. Rove failed to appear, people are ignoring Congress and the Constitution.

Thom: And Bush cannot pardon anybody if he is being impeached.
