Satan's letter to Pat Robertson

By GottaLaff

http://newsblaze.com/pix/2010/0113/pix/pat-robertson.230.jpg

When Pat Robertson blamed Haiti's pact with the devil for the earthquake, he struck a chord... a chord from hell in the key of hot.

The devil felt compelled to respond.

Satan's letter to Pat, in part:
If I had a thing going with Haiti, there'd be lots of banks, skyscrapers, SUVs, exclusive night clubs, Botox -- that kind of thing. An 80 percent poverty rate is so not my style. Nothing against it -- I'm just saying: Not how I roll.
You're doing great work, Pat, and I don't want to clip your wings -- just, come on, you're making me look bad. And not the good kind of bad. Keep blaming God. That's working. But leave me out of it, please. Or we may need to renegotiate your own contract.
Best, Satan

VIDEO- Pat Robertson: Haiti disaster due to Haiti's "pact at the Devil."

By GottaLaff

UPDATE. via Media Matters:

UPDATE: THE VIDEO HAS BEEN EDITED, PAT ROBERTSON IS NO LONGER ON IT.

Relevant segment starts at about 6:00:

"When these disasters strike, we are there to help the people."

Of course you are, Pat... after you come out with outlandishly despicable statements about why Haiti has had to deal with so much death, so many troubles. See, according to Televangelist Pat it's because they"swore a pact at the Devil" in order to free themselves from the French.

"True story. So the devil said 'okay, it's a deal'".
That's why this horrific earthquake took place. Haiti asked for it. Did you know that? Apparently this Pat Robertson does.

A man of God indeed. So much for spreading the love.

VIDEO: Pat Robertson urges his callers to crash Homeland Security hotline

By GottaLaff

I saw this video yesterday, but forgot to post it. My bad. In case you missed it...

Pat's all a-froth over the DHS report that we've referenced here before. He's taking it a little too far, requesting, make that insisting, that callers jam the DHS phone lines. How's that for keeping America safe?

His attack on the DHS yesterday, alongside his coanchor Terry Meeuwsen, featured an unending stream of flatly false information and mischaracterizations. Plus, of course, the requisite gay-bashing and liberal bashing, all wrapped up in a neat little ball [...]
And if you jam up their lines, good for you!
While I could think of a few organizations whose lines it might be a good idea to jam, Homeland Security would not be one of them.

Hell, if Janet Napolitano and Obama were half the tyrants Pat Robertson makes them out to be, wouldn't they be charging him with an act of terrorism?
And by all means, don't miss the part where he spouts this little nugget of brotherly love:
Robertson: It -- it shows somebody down in the bowels of that organization is either a convinced left-winger or somebody whose sexual orientation is somewhat in question.

But it's that kind of thing, somebody who doesn't think that we should have abortion on demand, is labeled a terrorist! It's outrageous!
I once wrote about a million jokes for a big project I was hired to do for The Family Channel. Pat Robertson was my boss.

He refused to let me use the words "toilet paper".

Pat Robertson Vs Rush Limbaugh

Oh my, doncha know the Great Greasy One™ will bust a vein over this. From an interview by US News & World Report-

So you don't subscribe to Rush Limbaugh's "I hope he fails" school of thought?

That was a terrible thing to say. I mean, he's the president of all the country. If he succeeds, the country succeeds. And if he doesn't, it hurts us all. Anybody who would pull against our president is not exactly thinking rationally.
That's what happens when you pickle your brain in 100% high quality Hillbilly Heroin Pat.

Huckabee Lashes Back, Settles Scores

You knew it was coming. First a tv show, now this? Dish-licious.

Out this week: Do The Right Thing: Inside the Movement That's Bringing Common Sense Back to America by Mike Huckabee.

Time calls it "at once a memoir of his campaign, a treatise on the ills of the Republican Party, and a blueprint for his own political future." The book is also "filled with sharp words for fellow Republicans who frustrated his bid for the party's nomination."

Mitt Romney "comes in for the roughest treatment... He notes that Romney declined to make a phone call of congratulations after Huckabee beat the oddsmakers to win the Iowa caucuses, 'which we took as a sign of total disrespect.'"

He also "calls out Pat Robertson, the Virginia-based televangelist, and Dr. Bob Jones III, chancellor of Bob Jones University in South Carolina, for endorsing Rudy Giuliani and Romney, respectively. He also has words for the Texas-based Rev. John Hagee, who endorsed the more moderate John McCain in the primaries, as someone who was drawn to the eventual Republican nominee because of the lure of power."
