At this point, it's hard to tell if these nutcases are jumping on the bandwagon for the sake of their 15 minutes in the spotlight, just need to vent, or if they're deadly serious.

However, the broader point is that when the Newsmaxers of the world encourage a military coup "to resolve the Obama problem", when Tea Tantrumers publicly boil over with anger, it becomes infectious (as in, Facebook poll: Should Obama be killed?), especially to seriously deranged individuals teetering on the edge of insanity. All it takes is one very hostile, confused person. Just one.

To those doubters out there, or those who might toss off a threat like that on Facebook with, "Aw come on, it was just a kid", one word: Columbine.
