On Saturday, it turns out, Gaga will share a stage with none other than President Obama at the annual Human Rights Campaign dinner.
The White House confirmed Monday that Obama will keynote the gathering of the national's largest gay and lesbian advocacy organization -- only the second time a sitting president has addressed the HRC (after Bill Clinton in 1997), and the first time a sitting president has headlined with the pantless phenom best known for coining the phrase "disco stick" in her hit song "LoveGame." The big-ticket dinner for 3,000 at the Washington Convention Center will be held on the eve of a much larger gay-rights gathering, the National Equality March on the Mall. The HRC will present its first-ever Edward M. Kennedy National Leadership Award to activists Judy and Dennis Shepard. Also in the house that night: The TV cast of "Glee."
