Broken news: Grandpa reveals Bristol Palin’s having a boy

From the Department of Who Really Cares But It's a Slow Night:

[Chuck Heath, the father of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin] revealed that his pregnant granddaughter Bristol Palin is having a boy and confirmed that her due date is Dec. 20. Heath said the newest Palin will be welcomed in a lime-green and yellow nursery.

Lime-green and yellow? That kid will be spitting up more often than Grandma Also says... well, "also".

They haven't picked out a name yet. Just a wild guess, but I don't think it'll be "Bob" or "Mike". They do seem to have an affinity for "Joe".

On second thought, "Joe" is way too ordinary, after the likes of Trig, Piper, Bristol, Willow, and Track. "Plumber" would seem to fit the pattern though. "Plumber Palin?" Oy. "Plumber Johnston?" (The kiddies aren't married yet.)

Heath opened up about the frenzy that ensued after his daughter became Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) running mate. He said Sarah has more than 200 media requests, including open invitations from Oprah Winfrey, Bill O’Reilly and David Letterman. He said the governor has 87 boxes of unopened mail from all over the world that the family is sorting through.

I hope Grandma Also doesn't teach little Plumber words like "in what respect" and "you betcha". But doggone it, seein' her draggin' around a new prop family member from photo op to photo op? Thanks, but no thanks.
