In what is the first of many goodbyes for the Obamas in Chicago, the future first family this morning attended a party in their daughters' honor on their last day of school in Chicago.
Today was the last day of school at the University of Chicago Laboratory School before the students are released for the holidays. But for two students, Malia Obama, 10, and Sasha, 7, their impending move to Washington DC means today was their last day at that school permanently.
The Obama’s spent about 90 minutes inside the school for what a transition aide described as a “party for the Obama girls to celebrate their last day at the school.”
