GOP Blocks Appointments as Senate Adjourns

Again, Roll Call is subscription only, and I haven't yet found a follow up to this. However, they gave us enough to monitor the continuing obstruction:

Senate Republicans continued to make life difficult for Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Christmas Eve, blocking his efforts to name Senate conferees to negotiate a final version of health care reform legislation with the House.

I bet the thousands who continue to die because they are unable to get medical care will be thrilled to hear about this.
