Senate Kills Graham Amendment

Lindsey, Lindsey, Lindsey, we all know that military commissions allow hearsay and statements made as a result of torture as evidence (See detainee series and al-Kandari, Fayiz).

Of course, that must be exactly why you proposed the amendment:

The amendment, S.A. 2669, to the Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, would have forced the government to try the suspected plotters of the 9/11 attacks in military commissions.

There is still the question of where they will end up trying them, though.
