The foreign relations minister in Honduras' interim government says he has sent a letter to Barack Obama apologizing for a racial comment he made about the U.S. president.Enrique Ortez says the letter expresses "his most profound apologies" for "an unfortunate comment."
In a TV interview, Ortez said Obama "is a little black man who doesn't know where Tegucigalpa is located."
Ortez says the remark made before he was named to the post was not meant to offend anyone. [...]
Ortez also read a statement in Spanish from U.S. Ambassador Hugo Llorens that said: "I express my profound indignation for the unfortunate, disrespectful and racially insensitive comments made about President Barack Obama."
Well, as long as he made the comments before he was foreign relations minister...

Of course, the truly awkward thing is that Obama cannot accept the apology, as it would mean recognizing this guy as legitimate.
Is this guy smart enough to have done it for this reason?
Who you calling little?
"Is this guy smart enough to have done it for this reason?"
Of course he is.
Where is that place located..guess I do not know where this place is located either because it is no significant to me. This guy acts like this place is as popular as Paris or the Bahamas.
good old Handourian history of racial prejudice....well its no different than most Latin Americans who make the United States look like the height of progressive society.
