Vivid Entertainment says it has possession of sex tapes made by former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean and would like to be able to offer them to the public. TMZ has the letter Vivid head Steve Hirsch sent to Prejean’s attorney, Charles Lemandri, looking to make a deal to distribute “erotic footage that Carrie Prejean, former Miss California, produced for her boyfriend following their four (4) day rendezvous in February 2007.”

TMZ has the same video (eight in all, along with 30 photos), “but has not posted [it] because it’s just too racy.”

According to Mr. Ex, she's "using [religion] to get to where she's at right now". Well then, she fits right into today's ConservaNutitude.

How long do you think it will take C-Pre to decide that a pumped up bank account is more important than humiliation over her hypocritical opposite sexcapades?

David Shuster's Twitter fight with anti-gay church that picketed Obama kids’ school

Earlier today I posted about David Shuster's disgust at a group of picketers from Westboro Baptist Church outside of the Obama girls' school. Tomorrow they plan on protesting again.

David Shuster said all the right things, so I guess the truth hurt these revolting bunch of vulgar maniacs' widdle feelings:

But Shuster's Tweet set off an argument between the MSNBC reporter and Phelps-Roper.

"Don't forget our Tuesday Sidwell picket," Phelps-Roper Tweeted at Shuster, in reference to the group's plans to picket the school again. "Put away your idols and obey God!"

"Go ahead," Shuster Tweeted back at Phelps-Roper. "Show the entire world the vile, crude, and disgusting protest you put on this [morning] at the Obama kids' school."

Thank you, David. They are targeting children with their hate. Un. Ac. Ceptable.

As Terkel notes, this isn't the first time that an activist group has used the Obama girls' school as a setting for political exposition. In September, the group Operation Rescue held a protest outside Sidwell Friends where they reportedly displayed pictures of fetuses.

"Showing pictures of fetuses to young children will surely convince Malia and Sasha to be anti-choice, and warm hearts everywhere," liberal Fox News commentator Alan Colmes quipped at the time.

Two of my favorite Twitter pals nailed it, David Shuster for directly calling out this despicable group of zealots, and Alan for his snarky truth-telling.

This so-called "church" is shameless. Maybe someone should start picketing them.

Ralph Nader was on Alan Colmes' radio show, and so was my Twitter pal and cohort, Shoq.

Ralph Nader was discussing his new novel, "Only the Super Rich Can Save Us." It's about a group of billionaires who conspire to save us from the other billionaires. Ralph Nader is trying out the ol' fiction genre to communicate his latest ideas.

Shoq called in to Alan's show and asked Nader, "How does change, in this ultra partisan, corporate dominated climate, actually happen?" Okay, actually, it was more like, ""Okay Ralph, so real world now.. assuming your heroes don't save us, who will? How do we get off this "road to plutocracy?"

Alan Colmes Leaving "Hannity & Colmes"

Wow, I'm gobsmacked. Wonder if Lieberman is thinking of replacing him as the "liberal".

Breaking: Alan Colmes is leaving his position as co-host of "Hannity & Colmes" at the end of 2008.

According to the FNC release, he will stay on as a liberal commentator for FNC and as host of The Alan Colmes Show on FOX News Radio. He will also begin developing a weekend program for FNC.

In announcing his decision, Colmes said, "I approached Bill Shine (FNC's Senior Vice President of Programming) earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network. Although it's bittersweet to leave one of the longest marriages on cable news, I'm proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so many years."

Last night on Countdown, Keith Olbermann had some fun with Sean Hannity, saying it was the "end" for him. (Paddy had posted the exchange that Keith refers to) Not so fast, Keithers:

The New York Times reports today that Sean Hannity has agreed to stay at Fox News until 2012, and “is expected to become an even more prominent part of Fox’s opinion programming.” Fox executives are reportedly pleased with his Sunday-night show “Hannity’s America,” and in a statement, Fox senior vice president for programming Bill Shine said that Hannity would “remain a marquee name at Fox News for several years to come.” Fox declined to comment on the future of Bill O’Reilly or Alan Colmes.

That last sentence helps some.
