Republicans turn to Sarah Palin for fundraising help

By GottaLaff

Grabby McEarmarks + 2012 = TPC archive fun:
The NRSC and NRCC announced that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) will keynote the annual Republican Senate-House dinner on June 8th, which is the biggest fundraising event the GOP will be holding in 2009, according to the AP.

First Read: "If there was any doubt whom the Republican Party sees as its biggest fundraiser in the post-Bush era, this news should probably end it."

Marc Ambinder calls it a sign of Palin's "enduring popularity with the Republican base and a signal that she has not foreclosed on the possibility of a run for president."
She is all they have left. Slim pickin's at best.
