A new Hays Research poll shows Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) now has 54% positive rating and 42% negative rating among Alaskan voters.
That's a dramatic change from the 86% positive and just 9% negative a year ago.
By comparison, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) now has an approval of 76.3%.
I still say Obama takes Indiana by 3, but the fact that they're playing the Rev Wright ad every third commercial break here (on MSNBC no less) is pissing me off.
The final Public Policy Polling survey in Indiana shows Sen. Barack Obama just ahead of Sen. John McCain, 49% to 48%.
Key finding: "Like in many states Obama is going into election day with a strong advantage. A little under a quarter of likely voters have already cast their ballots and with those folks Obama has a 64-35 lead. John McCain is up 52-44 with those planning to vote on election day."

The final Quinnipiac Swing State polls show Sen. Barack Obama leading Sen. John McCain in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. No one has been elected President since 1960 without taking two of these three largest swing states.

Ohio: Obama 50%, McCain 43%
Pennsylvania: Obama 52%, McCain 42%
Said pollster Peter Brown: "Sen. Obama appears headed for the best showing of any Democratic candidate among white voters in a generation, going back at least to Jimmy Carter in 1976 and perhaps even to Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Race has been an issue, but green, not black or white, appears to be the color that matters most. Voters overwhelmingly say the economy is the major issue that leads to their vote and they see Sen. Obama as better able to handle the nation's money problems."

(CNN)— With two days until voters pull the lever for their next president, the latest CNN averages of battleground state polls shows the race tightening, but Sen. McCain still has some ground to make up.
CNN’s new Colorado Poll of Polls shows Obama leading McCain by 6 points 51 percent to 45 percent; The last Colorado Poll of Polls –- released Saturday –- showed Obama leading McCain by 7 points.
An average of polls conducted in battleground Florida, shows Obama leading McCain by 4 points, 49 percent to 45 percent. Saturday's Florida Poll of Polls also showed Obama leading McCain by 4 points.
In Iowa, where it all started for Sen. Obama, the Illinois senator is leading McCain by 14 points, 53 percent to 39 percent.
CNN’s new Minnesota Poll of Polls shows Obama leading McCain by 12 points, 52 percent to 40 percent; The last Minnesota Poll of Polls –- released October 30 –- showed Obama leading McCain by 13 points.
In New Hampshire, Obama is leading McCain by 11 points, 53 percent to 42 percent according to the latest CNN Poll of Polls. CNN’s last New Hampshire Poll of Polls –- released November 1 –- showed Obama leading McCain by 12 points.
CNN’s new average of polls in Pennsylvania shows the Democratic nominee leading the Republican nominee by 7 points, 51 percent to 44 percent; CNN’s last Pennsylvania Poll of Polls –- released November 1 –- showed Obama leading McCain by 8 points.
Finaly, in Virginia, a state that has voted Republican in every presidential race since 1968, Obama is leading McCain by 7 points, 51 percent to 44 percent.

(CNN) — Does the road to the White House run through the Rocky Mountains? A new state poll in Colorado suggests that Barack Obama has doubled his lead over John McCain there, as the Democratic nominee claims more territory on CNN’s Electoral Map.

A CNN/Time/ORC poll released Wednesday also suggests that Obama is holding on to a strong lead in Virginia, with 53 percent of those questioned backing Obama and 44 percent supporting McCain. That 9 point lead is down from a 10 point lead Obama held in our last poll conducted in Virginia last week. No Democrat has won Virginia in a presidential contest since Lyndon Johnson carried the state in 1964.

Pennsylvania: Obama 53%, McCain 41%
Said pollster Peter Brown: "If - IF - Sen. Barack Obama can take Florida, he could match or come close to President Bill Clinton's re-election margin in 1996, carrying all three of the big swing states en route to rolling up 379 Electoral College votes. The last challenger to win the Big Three was Ronald Reagan, who tallied 489 Electoral College votes in his 1984 landslide."

(CNN) — Barack Obama is hanging onto leads in several battleground states as well as a handful of traditionally red states won by President Bush in 2004, CNN's average of several recent state polls shows.

In Ohio, the state no Republican has won the White House without, Obama is holding a 4 point lead, 50 percent to 46 percent. That's one point narrower than a CNN Ohio polls of polls last week.
In Missouri, the state that voted for President Bush twice, Obama holds a 1 point lead over McCain. A CNN average of recent polls last week showed the race tied in Missouri.
Obama is holding onto a 2 point lead in Florida meanwhile, 48 percent to 46 percent. That's one point narrower than the race was last week at this time.
In Nevada, Obama has a 4 point lead, 49 to 45 percent — a lead that hasn't changed over the last week.
In Virginia, a state that hasn't voted Democratic in over 4 decades, but one that has been increasingly trending Democratic, Obama holds a 5 point lead, 50 to 45 percent. That's 3 points narrower than Obama's lead there last week, according to a CNN poll of polls then.
McCain meanwhile has a 1 point lead in Indiana, 47 to 45 percent, another state that hasn't voted Democratic since the 1960's but one that the Obama campaign has heavily targeted.
McCain also has an 8 point lead in West Virginia, 50 to 42 percent, a lead that is 6 points higher than it was this time last week.

According to a new Democracy Corps poll in Georgia, Sen. John McCain leads Sen. Barack Obama by just two points, 46% to 44%.
In the U.S. Senate race, Sen. Saxby Chambliss holds a four point edge over challenger Jim Martin (D), 48% to 44%.
"The Republican brand is tarnished in Georgia and a national wave threatens to carry the state to Democratic shores. Obama and Martin still trail and must make gains to win here, but the fact that Georgia is even close speaks to powerful political currents across the country."
I'm not so sure about that huge lead in Indiana, but I'd still think he is in the lead.
