VIDEO: Sarah Palin accidentally slams Fox with "lamestream media" label

By GottaLaff

Thank you profusely, Heather (at Crooks and Liars) for this tasty morsel:

Oh, this is too delicious.Who else could be as blatantly idiotic as OpenWide McFootInMouth?

This was one of her biggest ClusterFoxes ever:

OpenWide finally got something right: Faux is synonymous with "lamestream media".

Hey ClusterFoxers, how does it feel to get blasted by your favorite new spokesDeeJay?

CPAC Watch: Tim Pawlenty exploits Tiger Woods scandal

By GottaLaff

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/01541/tigerwoods_game_1541846c.jpg

Timing is everything:

"It's like Tiger Woods' wife, we should take a nine iron to the back windshield of big government spending and smash it out."

-- Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R), quoted by Minnesota Public radio, speaking at the CPAC conference.

Had Timmy just waited, he'd have learned that he should be speaking in hushed, reverent tones about the Woods affair(s).

And how tasteful of him to politicize that scandal to make his party look like they might actually have a plan or something.

Not to mention the emphasis on violence.

Not to mention the hypocrisy, considering the number of scandals members of his own party have recently been involved in.

Not to mention he's just wrong.

"Cool" Conservatives honor James O'Keefe. XPAC ad: "Tech, Interactive, Engaging, and GNARLY... yeah baby!"

By GottaLaff

http://www.rawstory.com/images/new/xpac.jpg

XPAC! It's "epic"!

How "fly" is this?! Dufus hipster conservatives have their own awesome little clubhouse now! Gnarly!

In fact, it's so gnarly that they seem compelled to remind us over and over and over... and over... just how freakin' hip it is:

Adding some entertainment to this week's annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. is the first ever Xtreme Politically Active Conservatives (XPAC) lounge, hosted by staunch Christian Republican Stephen Baldwin and conservative writer Kevin McCullough. Fox News will broadcast the event and is listed as a sponsor.

Oh, but ClusterFox isn't partisan-- or cool-- it's fair and balanced.

Wanna know who the kewl kids are?

Among those scheduled to attend are RNC chairman Michael Steele and right-wing provocateur Ann Coulter. Fox News analyst Brit Hume will be honored, along with "ACORN pimp" and alleged felon James O'Keefe, who was caught breaking into Sen. Mary Landrieu's (D-LA) office just weeks ago.

The Madam's Apple? A felon? "That's how I roll, he be da man" Steele? ClusterBrit? Can't get kewler than that now, can ya?

In one Facebook video there's a breathless, young, stoked spokeswoman, XPAC's Hope Ammen, who can barely contain herself:

"You're also going to get private meet and greets with young people who are getting out there to slap liberals!"

Encouraging violence! How groovy is that!?

A second video (neither is embeddable) lapses into Moon Unit Zappa '80sSpeak, describing XPAC as

"Tech, Interactive, Engaging, and GNARLY... yeah baby!"

Make that Austin Powers '60sSpeak.

And if you act now!

Change your fb profile pic, WIN an XPAC Prize Pack! (INCLUDING a NEW Mac iPad!!!)

Whether you’ve registered to attend the conference or not… you can win an XPAC hoodie, tee, skullie, or cap, also a copy of Stephen Baldwin’s and Kevin McCullough’s best selling title’s “The Unusual Suspect” and “MuscleHead Revolution” signed by the author’s. (AND JUST ADDED: a Mac iPad) All you have to do to be registered to win – is change your profile picture on facebook to the one listed above AND join the “XPAC” fan page.

It’s easy. It’s fun, and it helps get the word out…

XPAC gear… cool, slick, hip.

Rad!

This is big, guys. Wanna know how big? This big:

XPAC It's bigger than you can imagine. It's bigger than Geese being banned at JFK. It's bigger than Keith Olbermann on health care. It's bigger than Ron Paul on banning drugs. It's bigger than Michelle Bachman or John Boehner speaking from the floor. It's bigger than Obama's State of the union. It's bigger than Sony cameras, and if you think these all look the same... they're not.

It's bigger than Joe Biden sayin' "God Bless America."

It's bigger than a Fox Business Channel "Breaking News" story....

It's such an auto-matically huge, well tuned, reality that it makes news...

NOON... MONDAY... http://xpac2010.com

Wow! It's so big that they misspelled Michele Bachmann's name! Now, that's big!

GOP VIDEO: Dems running to replace Kennedy are scary

By GottaLaff

This video is brimming over with bad:

The video takes aim at the four Democratic candidates for [Ted Kennedy's] seat, making them out to be characters in a horror film and giving them nicknames like "Cap and Trade Capuano" and "Call My Sister Overseas Coakley.

A high school audio visual techie could do better.

Ralph Reed Will Start "Hipper" Christian Coalition

By GottaLaff

http://images.buycostumes.com/mgen/merchandiser/33665.jpghttp://www.gracega.org/Sermons1/Apr-Jun2004/RalphReed1a.jpg

Between Off the Hook Michael Steele, and now, Street Ralph, the Rushpublic party simply couldn't be more hip and edgy:
After years of scandal and political defeats, Ralph Reed wants a new start and is creating a new advocacy group called the Faith and Freedom Coalition, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Said Reed: "This is not going to be your daddy's Christian Coalition."
Who's your daddy? Never mind...
"It has to be younger, hipper, less strident, more inclusive and it has to harness the 21st century that will enable us to win in the future... It's the political analog to the iPod and the iPhone. It would be cool. It would be transformative. It would transform our politics and bring younger people to our ranks. All of those are critical imperatives."
iThink the last thing peeps would associate with the Rushpublic party are the words "hipper" and "cool". That's what iThink, because iBeHip and Cool like that.

Eric Cantor: 'We've got a lot to learn' from Obama

By GottaLaff

The GOP is capable of learning? Who knew:

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor tells CNN's John King that the GOP still has a lot to learn from President Obama.
He just won today's award for Understatement of the Year:

"President Obama is a great communicator. We understand that," he said in an interview that aired on CNN's State of the Union Sunday. "He's also been very adept at adopting the technology of today to access the youth vote and the younger population of this country. That's the future, and I believe we've got a lot to learn. The Republican Party can't keep doing things the way it always has in terms of technology."
Ohhh, that Clever Cantor. He can't fool me. This is all part of that whole Rushpublic Rebranding effort isn't it? Nearly got that one right by me. I better keep my peepers open, 'cause he's one sly fox.

One new GOP face who seems to disagree with Cantor's point of view: Meghan McCain, whose father John McCain is involved with the NCNA effort.

"Simply embracing technology isn't going to fix our problem," the 24-year-old told a gay Republican group last month. "Republicans using Twitter and Facebook isn't going to miraculously make people think we're cool again. Breaking free from obsolete positions and providing real solutions that don't divide our nation further will."

They should think about making MegMac chair of the Rushpbulic Rebranding Rehab effort. But MegMac, come on... "cool again"? The GOP never has been and never will be "cool". Nothing on earth will ever make Rushpublics cool, especially with spokescretins like Dork and Dorkier.
