BoingBoing has a slew of disgusting slogans and images of President Obama from various tee shirts, buttons, stickers, you name it. I'm posting some of them, but there are a lot more here.
The merchandise is from the period during which the beyond-heated health care debate took place.
Anyone who dares to claim that there is, and was, no racist slurs directed at the president should study the images below.
How in the world do we dial this toxicity back? It's essential that we do.
Here's an idea: How about a few in the GOP leadership give it a sincere effort? A few words from them could help some. Of course, there are a few Americans who are so filled with venom, nothing will help.
But one thing is certain: If those extremists who are teetering on the edge continue to be encouraged, if the worst of the Tea Baggers persist in inciting hatred and violence, it is nearly inevitable that something tragic will occur, and then it will be too late.

Don't Palin fans know they need to live up to their bumperstickers?
By GottaLaff

[M]y good friend (I'll call him "E") had called three times, which is unlike him. [...]Preachy McFraudLips' devotees are following in the footsteps of their half-governor, all show and no go. What they lack are ghost writers and palm Sharpies.Nothing quite like being nearly sideswiped at 65mph with your child in the car!The issue here isn't even that this woman made several bonehead moves on the road...we all screw up occasionally. The outrageous part of the story is that SHE put a 5-month-old and his father in danger by breaking the law and driving like a drunk woman. Then, SHE gave HIM the finger like it was HIS fault! The idiot woman with the "Choose Life" & "Palin 2012" bumper stickers on her BMW at least stopped her cellphone conversation long enough to flip me off after nearly slamming into me.
...no turn signal either, of course. [...]

Joe the Mouther has inspired "You Lie!" bumper stickers
By GottaLaff
Hero worship of the sickest kind:

But anti-Boy Georgie tee shirts got you arrested. Yeah, that makes sense.
Typical Rushpublic double standard.
By the way, just a thought: One of these days all that hate mongering could very well backfire. Literally. Not only are they insolent, dangerous, vulgar sheeple, but they're short-sighted insolent, dangerous, vulgar sheeple.

Hey, it's what the Humane Society recommends
By GottaLaff
It's only right:
[Y]ou'll have peace of mind that his or her offspring won't be euthanized [...]There's that E-word again.
If you don't want those pesky Socialist death panels activated, neuter! After all, it's the humane thing to do.

Photographic Proof That CPAC’s Back In Town
By GottaLaff
I'm waiting for the Palin/Jindal stickers.
UPDATE:
One of the highlights of this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference will be the annual CPAC Straw Poll, in which conference attendees will vote on which politician should win the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. The results to be released on Saturday, but balloting at the conference has already begun. My money's on "Undecided".So who’s on this year’s ballot? [...]
Here are the choices: Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, former House speaker Newt Gingrich, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Texas Rep. Ron Paul, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, and “Undecided.” There’s also space on the ballot for a write-in-candidate.
