Gallup finds that President Obama's approval rating has averaged 65% during his first four months in office -- a very similar rating as compared to other recent presidents.
"Historically, there has been no clear pattern in the trends for presidential approval ratings through May of a president's first year in office -- four of the previous eight post-World War II presidents showed increases in their approval ratings from February to May, and four showed decreases."
