They just can't marry the person they love

I can't link directly to the letter (only to the letters page), because the L.A. Times hasn't posted it online yet, but I am perfectly capable of typing it out all by my own self:

Despite this week's Supreme Court ruling, it's still perfectly legal for gay people to get married in California.

They just can't marry the person they love.

Makes the point concisely and clearly, does it not?
