Happening right now: An "energetic and determined" President Obama speaks

Time for a few patented, award-winning, internationally acclaimed quick notes:

President Obama is sounding tough, confident, and more like himself. Firguratively speaking, he's rolled up his sleeves.

He's speaking about renewable energy and his recovery plan right now. Notably, he brought up, again, that the people spoke loud and clear in November. Yes we did. Let's stop catering to those whose candidate lost the election.

He's laying into his critics now, sounding assertive.

"Inaction is not an option. It's not acceptable to the American people."

He's calling on all of Congress to rise to this moment. Frankly, he sounds appropriately impatient.

"We can't seem having the same old arguments over and over again that lead us to the exact same spot.... We end up bickering when the economy needs action."

On taking action:

"That's what the American people are looking for, that's what I expect out of Congress..."

Indeed we are, President Obama.

Way. To. Go.
